who told you he's retiring soon? He's 27 years old. And just cuz he's in
the army doesn't mean he doesn't practice and go to competitions. There's
alot of bboys who are older than 30 but still thrive to dance because it's
what they enjoy to do, as does Hong10, not making this up, he said it. And
age means nothing when you breakdance everyday, as long as you always
practice. The younger bboys won't match his skills and knowledge of the
dance. And yeah, it is a shame, i think he'll be a stylehead.
Just because I said in my other comment that Hong 10 was close to retiring
it doesn't mean I'm hating on Koreans lol. What I meant was he's way past
his prime and soon he won't be able to match the athleticism of the younger
bboys. As for Physicx I was making a point that he didn't invent the move,
but definitely popularized it and perfected it. He had the best powermoves
and began working hard on improving his foundation. It's a shame he was
injured.
Dude, i've seen you everywhere and whenever i see your comments it's like
you hate koreans. lol. And nope in 1000% Physicx went against Junior and he
did a spinning flagpole, and junior couldn't do it. And from what bboys on
the forum are saying, he injured his shoulder in 2010 which caused him to
lose alot of his moves. He's almost done with military service though, so
he'll be bboying soon in top shape.
I first watched Junior back in 04. He's still the man. I don't care what
anyone says, he may not be the best or most versatile bboy in the world or
even in the top. But he does what he does best. You can feel the passion in
his dance. He's one of the first bboys I watched and I still got love for
this guy. Respect.
You should learn your history too man. Many have done flags and spinning
flags before Physicx and Junior. Bboy Orb of Circle of Fire, for instance
is one of the bboys doing that all the time back in the 90's. A side note:
Orb was one of Physicx' original inspirations.
Hong10 close to retiring? Not even close! He's just busy with the military
service as well as Differ. Lilou has the same age as Hong10. Roxrite is 31
and can still keep up and keep progressing.
SPACE-DYE VEST - Dream Theater, Live @ Coliseu do Porto, Portugal

I could've sworn they mentioned once that they would NEVER play this song
like since it wasn't "theirs" - The entire concept of the song and lyrics
were all written by their former keyboardist, whose names escapes me atm.
+bulaxa Yea, exactly. Digging in to it seems to have been Mike Portnoy who was against playing it live, maybe his departure+first "real" release with Mangini factores into them playing it live... still weird though .p
You look like the typical DT fan nowadays. You discovered them while playing guitar hero and now they're in your rotation right between "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Bullet for my Valentine". I remember seeing them in 2007 and along with the usual 53 year old men who show up, there were a lot of 20 year olds with metalcore shirts on. It's no wonder their music went downhill. They have to satisfy people like you now.
+Adika Titut Triyugo Ahh man, it really got me excited :D Now I need to hear / see Misunderstood, Metropolis Pt.1 & Learning to Live. Oh and the alcohol suite thing, but as Mike Portnoy's not there anymore, I doubt they'll do this :(
