+Michael Mota Definitely real and worth it. Although being reprints does dampen the overall value, it's better than not having them at all or having to pay top dollar for individual cards.

+TheWaterStuff X stands for a number, so here it basically means a multiple of 1000. For example, 3 could be used, making the value 3,000.

+Bardin Nothing really, they are indeed reprints. The original packs are considered 1st Edition, while these aren't due to reprinting. The packs are thrown in for nostalgia purposes, as an educated guess. It's just bonus stuff, the main lure is the promo cards and the board.

+Fastdounut BF Obviously compared to today's metagame, the cards in the original packs aren't very good, these are more for nostalgia. This box was more for picking up the promo cards and the board, the packs are just extra. Buying a whole box of one pack would increase chances of good pulls, but those sets would be quite expensive today.

Can you give me an idea/opinion which one is better? I'm trying to decide if I should get this or the 10th Anniversary set. The only difference I see is the box and the fact that there is a play board in the box, but I want to be sure which one is the best purchase.

I never did get the original Legendary Collection, but aside from the large folder-like container, I would recommend the Gameboard Edition shown here, the board itself is a good addition. The Gameboard one is also much easier to find, not to mention less expensive.
