That's exactly what I think this is about. It was planned....two days after at Wal-Mart the dukes of hazzard car was on the shelf sans flag and general lee. Yet it had been shipped from China. Then delivered by truck, put in store warehouse and put out on shelf. The usual turn around time for when products get delivered to store to being on shelf is a day and a half. How do you account for the travel time from China? This was planned. It's not about the flag in the big picture, it's about decisions being made in the blink of an eye. +MrHardCash It is. The problem is the US has a "corporation oligopoly" problem. They are like unions of corporations and companies that together manipulate politicians and the market to their own benefit. Money in politics is a real problem in the US, that derives in all other ones. 

+Roberto Giménez He might also be good at managing his money. Not merely financially stable or rich. A huge problem many people have difficulty with. But you're right, college debt is one of the worst in the US. It also seems to be manufactured or "by design" for some reason.

+MrHardCash But the problem is the underlying message he delivers, that if you are financially responsible, the college problem goes away. He should say: "I have the luck to be very well educated and be in a good position financially so I'm not in debt, but I acknowledge that there is a college debt problem in the US...". Being in debt is not bad, the problem is what are you paying for. The college debt prevents people to achieve financial independence.

But even if he took a student loan...... if he's in the US and doesn't have any debt, then he still deserves praise. There was a foreign show (about social reform ideas and such) with an episode about Americans and their debt. They went to the US in an attempt to find a "debt free American". They shot in NY and other cities, in some of busiest streets. They'd stop people in the streets and ask them "are you debt free?". Hundreds of people. Took them many days of shooting till they finally found someone who claimed he was. Most of the answers they got were: "hahaha", "I wish!" and "you're wasting your time".

Mentioned everywhere even in comedy shows and other daily TV shows. It affects even non-Americans as sometimes we feel the same burden, although we have zero debt.We keep picturing a nightmarish scenario where our countries might adopt a similar corrupt system (well, in my country's case, they're starting to head that way), so many of us try to mentally prepare for it early on. If you stop bitching about it, maybe we can finally enjoy our normal lives. loool

Plus a list of much more amazing benefits we took for granted. (That's before the country was recently destroyed by western backed terrorists). Don't "assume" stuff about people. Not familiar with the "extrusive situation" you suggested I have. I'm neither American nor European.
