thanks it means a lot
Okay so you have a problem with eating. Maybe you can find food that you
can eat a ton of and actually lose some weight. Flavored rice cakes or
something.
.....any time I learn something new about being healthy I try to share it.
I was searching for a specific vid about obesity and ur vid was there and
after watching I decided to share wig you some tips. It's a fact that some
foods can kill you slowly, while other foods help to nourish you ;) don't
starve eat more but eat foods that are good. Then only way to lose weight
and feel good is to speed up ur metabolism. A healthy diet is the key. It's
all you need. By healthy I don't mean salad everyday. I mean eggs and
coconut flour toast with real butter and coffee, for lunch tuna and cottage
cheese with fruit and some nuts and fresh juice or tea, and dinner healthy
lean grass fed steaks with baked potatoes and broccoli. You gotta eat just
eat the right stuff. You can. I cheat I eat an entire large pizza by myself
at least 3 times a year lol but lost of the time I'm eating healthy.
Boogie, I have watched a few of your videos, and I must tell you that I
have a lot of respect for many of the things you say. One thing I want to
thank you for saying is that your overweight condition was caused by
overeating. Not addressing the reasons for the overeating/emotional eating,
just to the fact that overweight is caused by eating. I have had many
people, primarily women, of 300-400+ lbs. bodyweight argue with me about
that, and claim that not only did they not overeat, but that they ate LESS
than the average person. Now, I do understand that some people have slow
metabolisms and gain weight more easily, but when someone tells me they
only eat 600 calories a day and still gain weight, they are insulting my
intelligence. I finally got to witness what actually happens first hand: I
was dating a woman whose mother was about 350 Lbs., and who claimed she ate
normally. OK, so I was invited to have dinner at the mom's house one
evening. We all ate sizeable, slightly large plates of food. Then we sat
and talked, food still on the table, for upwards of 1/2 hour. During this
time, the mom would take a large serving spoon of mac and cheese, put it on
her plate and eat it, then a couple of minutes later, a serving of
something else, then something else, etc. Well, by the time she finished
this, she had easily eaten another entire plate of food. Next she is
prepping the leftovers to go in the fridge. A couple of things don't have
much left, so she just eats what is in those dishes so she can put the
dishes in the dishwasher. More calories. Next day, we come in from whatever
we had been doing and there is a LARGE cake on the kitchen table, but it is
actually half a cake, other half missing. My girlfriend had her suspicions
and asked her mom "Where is the other half of this cake?" Mom replied "I
gave it to Shirley (next door neighbor)" So, when we saw Shirley, my
girlfriend asked her how she liked the cake. She had not seen, eaten, nor
even heard of the cake. I had another heavy woman outright tell me "If you
did not see me eat it, I did not eat it." She was actually saying this a
bit tongue-in-cheek, but was revealing that she ate more than anyone knew
about. Anyway, Boogie, THANK YOU for your honesty about overeating, good
luck to you, and I hope things work out for you. BTW- I am 35 lbs.
overweight (from overeating!) and docs are already bitching at me, even
docs who are heavier than I am! Take care of yourself, and rest assured
that there are people out here who care about you.
+Lean Meat People are biochemically individual, I understand that. I also understand that skinny isn't healthy, although I did not say it was or advocate it anyway. My point was that while Boogie admits to overeating causing most of his weight issues, some people who are enormous deny ever overeating. Do this: ask any physics professor if you can eat one pound of food and gain two pounds of weight.
Some food block nutrients and create inflammation and excess cortisol which can lead to becoming obese. Everyone is different. Obesity happens over a period of time and starvation isn't going to help a person become healthier, maybe only skinny. It's about finding your unique balance.
Male, 20, 130 but no fat. maybe 1% body fat or soIt sounds all willy nilly but it's very hard to put on more muscle mass because it's very hard to gain weight. it doesn't help that I eat vegan 3 days a week.
