On "Meet The Press" yesterday, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Georgetown University professor Michael Eric Dyson had a heated exchange on ...
No, restrictions on Gun Ownership, expect for Blacks. They must be searched
for guns, without a Warrant. Why because the Constitution never Applied to
Blacks, as they were Slaves when the Constitution was written.
+David Landrum1. What is your definition of Jim Crow? SIDE NOTE : It is shameful how both whites and blacks in America use illegal drugs roughly the same but it is blacks who are more often incarcerated for their use. Because of this and other reasons I support the legalization of drugs. 2. I do not understand if all countries have prisons why only American prisons would be examples of Jim Crow. For you would you favor closing down all American prison? SIDE NOTE : I for one am very worried about the trend of having for profit prisons and the growing examples of the companies that own these prisons using their influence on politicians to increase prison terms. 3. This section of NYC is mostly populated by blacks because they choose to live there. My friend who moved into this neighborhood is a white immigrant form Russia. If blacks choose to live in a neighborhood why is this different then whites choosing to live in a given neighborhood? Not to mention, my Russian friend did take a risk by being white and moving into this mostly black neighborhood.
+NYCAustinNYC well number 1 yes they are included in the new Jim Crow. However it's mostly blacks who are systematically destroyed for the purpose of keeping the black community down. Number 2. No. No nation has had Jim Crow except for the America. Also the Constitution speaks to the laws of this land(being America). Therefore it doesn't apply to other countries. 3. That's not segregation. In no part of your last statement. That's called protecting yourself. I'm talking about the living situations where ppl now choose to live around ppl who look like them.
+NYCAustinNYC first off your taking what I said way out of context. 2nd of all I'm talking about America NOT other countries. 3rd & last your trolling so you can skate with that.
+David Landrum1. Would you include whites, East Asians, South Asians or other non-black people in American prison as an example of modern Jim Crow?2. Every nation has prisons? Would you argue that every nation therefore also has Jim Crow?3. As a white person there are certain sections of NYC where I do feel comfortable going, especially at night. For example one time I visited one of my friends for a house warming party in a black section of NYC. I went to a local convenience store to buy some booze. While waiting on line an elderly black man asked me in confusion and implied fear for my safety why I was in that neighborhood. Would this be an example segregation?
+Lavey1917 well slavery was side stepped in the 13th amendment where it says that slavery is prohibited expect for those are imprisoned. Which means prison is the new Jim Crow. As far as segregation is concerned ppl naturally do that on their own. Mostly out of fear. So even though legally segregation is prohibited it still takes place. Like when whites move out when blacks move in for example.
+Andy Espejo The NRA or Fox News never complained about Stop Frisk? In fact Fox News supports it; You see them go nuts over Gun Back Round Checks saying ''it's against the 2nd'', but if Cops search Blacks for guns, Fox doesn't say that is against the the 2nd Amendment. What do you think Fox Would say if Stop And Frisk Laws would go into effect in Rural Areas in the U.S,do you really think they would be supportive of it then? No, they would be screaming ''it''s Violation of the 2nd Amendment''
Stop and frisk wasn't a GOP policy but more of a police protocol . Second I never said I was in favor of stop of frisk because of a citizen of NYC I have seen the negative affects it those to the community. It CLEARLY violates the 4th ammendment
+Andy Espejo So you support the GOP Policy of Stop And Frisk? Which is to Frisk Black People in the Middle of Street biased on Skin Color? So after Years of the Constitution not granting Freedom to Blacks, the Constitution finally grants Blacks Citizens, yes, just that erases Years of oppression, ass-wipe.
Your so ignorant , there is an amendment to the Constitution ( meaning change ) that makes African Americans citizens dip shit. Also more guns create more crime ....I am not against guns but it has to be regulated . It's gotten to a point that even a mentally ill person can obtain a gun. This has to change
+Lavey1917I think you mean the 2nd amendment. The fourth amendment is protection from unreasonable search and seizure, do you really think that's obsolete and stupid?
Fact check : "In 1790, the first U.S. census counted 13,059 free blacks in New England, with another 13,975 in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. "//slavenorth.com/exclusion.htm
+VermonterKen So you are saying that the 4th Amendment must be taken off the black people so they can´t be fucked up by the police, when in reallity the inepts are the police and the guns that must be search are the illegalsAnd the whole idea of the 4th Amendment is both obselete and stupid in this time, was created in a time of fear of a foreign invation or the surge of a non democratic goverment by the use of militias. It should have gotten rid when a regular army was introducend, but now is useless, there are many interest from gun making factories to get rid of it
wtfffffffffffffffffff why didnt i know about thisss concert

I believe that piece is also where "Carousel" came from. The 'single' (?) version of "Carousel" is actually longer than as it appears within "Death's Crown" even though the original has more sections to it which don't appear on the 'single'.
+Blue Dragonfly ¨Open Book¨ was from HTM´s Deaths Crown project that they performed live at Madison College (now James Madison Univiersity) and subsequently recordered on Crafty Hands LP. These guys were so talented!
Any Happy The Man fan MUST read this: "The Greatest Band You've Never Heard

+Gee Man I love meeting people like you! Those who are intelligent enough to enjoy what most cannot see. HTM were friends of mine and Kit was my piano/boards/recording teacher for over a year. First time I heard them live at the cellar door in 1978, I don't think my mouth ever closed. When Kit finally called me and agreed to teach me, I became elated and scared to death all at the same time. Anyway, I like to hear from folks like you. Thanks Gee Man. Met G Gordon too in Fairfax Va. THE G-Man!
Thanks for posting that! I've been a progger since prog began, and would've included HTM—if not placed them at the top—had I only known. Sad in one sense, but a thrill to discover at this time in music history when I was utterly convinced nothing other than the usual prog greats existed. The prog "window" was so relatively brief.
