It would seem to me that all of the factory R&D and millions they spend on
it would be best for the bike and a slip on should be plenty . . I'm
guessing the gains are from the exhaust and air filter not the PC3 . . I
will say that they're definitely set up way to lean from the factory and
that alone will make a bike run hotter for sure . . But then again lean is
mean
if u don't tune for the exhaust and air filter, it doesn't really help. The bike stock is tuned for its stock configuration and for california emissions. of course the tuned power commander helped.

My 2010 Suzuki GSXR 750 with Akrapovic carbon shorty exhaust, custom made. Open pipes, no cat and without baffle. Also fitted with K&N high flow air filter.
I would certainly get rid! I shouldn't damage the engine as its not a huge
amount different that having a full system which allows the engine to
'breath' better. I would recommend that you have it re-mapped by a
specialise after though to get the most out of it!
I have got same one too but in black and white color with akrapovic
megaphone slipon. I want to remove cat but i am not sure if this is healthy
for the engine. What do you thinks?? Thanks

with the BMC filter, the sound is more noisy from the airbox, but not really from your exhaust. Don't buy a BMC "Race" if you don't have a Dynojet Power Commander
