Yeah, it isn't just the low oil prices. It is Alberta's NDP (Democratic
Socialist) Government and their policies that have driven investors away.
The economic situation is an unmitigated disaster. The province's credit
rating has been downgraded, highest unemployment rate in over 30 years. It
is an endless list of one debacle after another.
They don't have oilsand oil. It's way cheaper. Sorry they've been in power 9 months. And somehow made the price of oil drop before they came to power. There is more to life...and Canada...then the oil sands.
+Matt Hoyte First of all I will put in simple terms so you can understand, The NDP have been in power since May 2015. Get your facts straight. Secondly, it was the NDP's delay of the royalty review that created uncertainty in investment and now with the Trulander Government's fiasco with the Keystone, Northern and Eastern pipelines and putting a kibosh on tanker traffic off the BC Coast. Lastly, explain the fact that big oil companies have invested in Saskatchewan oil projects or in an attempt to cut their loses, they have just up and left the province for Texas and other parts of the world.
Canada if the Repulicans win the white house than your economy will recover
cause America is definitely going to go back to War. but if Bernie wins
Canada better invest more Green Energy. i have faith in y'alls prime
minister and the Canadian people so y'all will be successful either way
Nope, Trudeau has the same stance as the democrats, only when we once again have a conservative PM, and the Americans have a republican president, will we successfully work it out.
+Best Of Lemon well a lot of people lost their jobs in the early 2000s partly to blame on high oil prices.

Canadian students resume protests
Subscribe to our channel //bit.ly/AJSubscribe Thousands of university students in the Canadian city of Montreal have marched against planned tuition-fee ...
it's not that simple for them to do that in canada. it's not like the U.S
we have many checks and balances to prevent that and our parties hate each
other so much that they will blow the whistle on each other for
unconstitutional behaviour if it means they will have a chance to take
power. plus party discipline is ver strict which is good and bad. at least
we know for sure where each party(candidate) stands again unlike the U.S
911 was a false flag. WTC 7 was brought down by demolition in 6 1/2 seconds
on 911 (third building to fall and was not hit by a plane). This needs to
be addressed in Canadian news and we need an investigation into the events
of 911. Further, Canadian large banks were bailed out - 114 billion (read
the report by David MacDonald). Canadian government lies about these
issues.
that's so true haha. i remember when the liberal party did that sponsorship
scandal (which is similar to how the U.S politicians are providing favours
for donors now that i think about it) people lost their shit and voted out
even liberals who tried opposed the sponsorships. moral: don't fuck with
Canadian voters
ok, and how are other Western Nations any different in terms of
Policy..economic, political, on a international scale? It is a Globalistic
agenda. We all support war, International Banking cabal, stripping common
man of their freedoms, and multi culturalism (divide and conquer). We all
will fall
Do half these people even know why prices for schooling are going up
despite the fact that normal market forces would bring them down? Or are
they attributing this to simple "greed"? Here's an idea: stop going to
these ridiculous schools. College degrees are generally worthless anyway.
In America the church and right wing media divert the blame from the 1% to
the poor, blacks, immigrants and the liberals. I wish in the States we
would stand up or strike to get the government to listen but this country
is so divided with by media I have lost all hope.
we pay a significant amount of taxes to keep our schools cheap, and this
protest is not only about tuition increase it is much about broader issues
such as corruption and transparency in the government and university
bureaucracies.
Politicians don't know how to solve the underlying problems, if they did
the problems would have already been solved. If you want solutions watch

LOL. Yes. Did you see the new stuff that they are doing now here to block
the students from voting? I wonder if they will try to stop the women from
voting again like a bunch of religious extremist.
They will still have lower fees then the rest of Canada. They should be
happy about that at least. Glass half full and all (even though it's
completely full, just the other half is oxygen :) ).
The first and only objective of any politician is to get elected. Therefore
politician tell the population what they want to hear, not what the facts
are. Keep that in mind.

Dalton's Double Standards for Bad Tuition Fees Policy
Does Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty think tuition fees are too high and a barrier to education? Or does he think that students and their families should take on ...
Actually, I was at the 2005 speech. The clips seem really out of context
juxtaposed against the 1998 speech, when I remember it. He actually had the
nerve to say that "tuition fees will go up" without the political double
speech and this was in a university lecture hall in front of an audience of
students. There was nearly a riot.
I am going to university in a year and my job at McDonalds is not going to
be able to cover the tuition cost. I serve pig after pig after pig for
$8/hr so that, in future, I won't have to serve pigs anymore. Let me tell
you, I'll still be serving pigs when I graduate university to pay off my
freaking enormous debt!!!
