It means if your running a four speed sim and say you want to down shift from fourth into third but miss and hit fifth there's nothing to prevent you from doing that. Your game would probably read that as neutral, so don't miss:-)

This has to be one of the most informative videos I have seen so far. It only leaves me with 1 question. Shifting gears in a real car while forgetting to use or not pressing the clutch enough, will give some very nasty noises and the gear shift will not work (unless you are lucky enough to hit the right revs). Are there any gear shifters on the market that can simulate that? What happens if you shift gears with the TH8A while NOT stepping on the clutch? What will happen when you do it with the Fanatec shifter? I recently got the G29 and am now looking for a nice shifter to use for ETS2 and rally games.

+scarystuff1970 Currently, there are no shifters on the market that offer force feedback to signify a failed gear engagement. I'm hoping an advance will eventually be made in that department since it would be sweet.

+mcdirtking Nope. That wheel is far from worth it anyway. I'd just move up to the T150, which is compatible with the TH8A.

Could you tell me how much tension can I have? I hate just flicking the stick, I prefer real car resistance, the more the better. Does it have more resistance than G27 stick?

+Bili5 While I don't have the TH8A, I do have the TH8RS. You're able to tighten the tension enough where it has resistance equivalent to a real car. Also, the default setup of the shifter has higher tension than the G27/G29 shifter.

Yes it did. Works very well even with the transmission still in the car.

Sorry, but i think u can do it on your own. You need a peace of wood und 2 Screws.And you have to drill 2 holes in the Tube.

is the action cam better than the gopro (first gen) in terms of night time? I've tried various times to get good shots in the mountains with literally no street lights (only my HIDs) and all the video footage turned out to be quite dark

Its cool, I omce broke the thumb knob AND the wire to switch gears on my freespirit when I was racing a huffy. Blew the handlebars off her ass. She caught me by the second block though smh she had 18spd as I had a 21.

It appears that the firmware to date has issues like many others with low light, night blurring when trying to focus. Would be good for a new test with the newer firmware.
