Think you'd ever turn off the braking line for the added challenge? I'm
going to try turning it off completely since it's a new game when it's
released to everyone. Great vid by the way, ROT :) Keep up the good work!
+MrSimpy10 Yes, you just have to find the sweet spot for each car. It's a bit like braking; every car has different brake points. I personally don't drive those top classes but I always have the problem with my muscle/speed cars. Another thing you can do is turn on traction control (TCS) as it'll completely negate that stalling at the start but I know a lot of people prefer to keep it off.
+FuriousSam Thanks so much! I've tried holding the clutch and pressing full gas, but sometimes it doesnt work. Is the key "begin accelerating," so gently accelerating? I've only had this issue with the crazy high rpm and shift cars like P/X class.
+MrSimpy10 Hold down the clutch, begin accelerating, then release the clutch as soon as the countdown hits zero and you should take off. With practice, you'll start to nail your starts, save a few tenths off your starting lap time and leave those automatics in your dust. It's somewhat like in real life if you drive. This also helps for when you get spun out and need to start up again. I hope this helps and I do agree that it would be great for ROT to give a demonstration for everyone :)
+ROT King Do you think you could make a quick video on how to stop stalling or how to start on the higher tier cars. Basically, in P/X class certain cars stall when I'm using clutch (like the Audi #2 e-tron), and Im not really sure how to consistently get off the line without stalling? I know I'm just not doing something correctly, but I'm not sure what it is.
+FuriousSam I may never add that challenge. To me I just use them for markings for braking points and I am too lazy to find marks on the tracks to use instead. Just lazy I guess.
Here is a one-off Ferrari GTB Fiorano that I found at Miller Motorcars. It has a 6-speed manual transmission and a Capristo exhaust fitted. I filmed some detail ...
