Early voting has started in North Carolina, get started here: //OFA.BO/g75M4w North Carolinians were fired up on the first official day of early vote in North ...
I'm so excited to finally see the results of all our hard work with OFA! My
daughter Sammy just voted for the first time in a Presidential election,
and got two of her friends to early vote over fall break. We have
registered thousands of new voters, and now they get to participate in the
political process and help us re-elect President Barack Obama. Let's keep
NC blue!
Looks exhilirating! Where in NC was this? I voted early in Asheville NC on
the first day of NC Early Voting. I'm 59 and I believe I was just as
excited as this first time voter. I too enjoyed seeing this young woman's
excitement and apparent pride. I hope her enthusiasm is as enduring as mine
is proving to be.
Good for that young lady at the end of the video for being excited about
this process. People do need to get excited about voting. There are many
nations overseas with 3/4 and more of the population voting. AND they know
the issues. That needs to happen here in the States.

Just called local Dem Headquarters. We're teaching, outreaching, getting
souls and soles into DMV, going to help those who have to stand in lines,
instruct that no longer straight ticket voting, how to quickly vote for the
name with the "D" after it. 2014 in NC will evince a larger voter turnout
than ever seen in this state! And 2016 will see an even larger turnout! If
dog-catchers were still elected, no GOPTEA dog-catchers in NC! I almost
thank these a-holes for waking a somnabulistic public!
Really, you're going to try to define policy based on a catch phrase? Don't
be daft, many of us have a job or obligations that may prevent us from
getting to the polls one day, that in way negates our right to cast our
vote. Hell if conservatives weren't so interested in trying to gerrymander
the vote just like they have everything else they'd be encouraging voters
to come out and vote so they get the most accurate representation of what
their state really wants (hint, it's not them).
Ok, well let's make Election Day a holiday so people can have all day to
vote rather than trying to get there before or after work to vote before
7:30 p.m.
I don't often say this, because I honestly don't believe that mistatements
are intentionally deceptive. But in this case, Mr. Rucho just outright
lies.
