I mentioned "iraq invaded kuwait" in my initial long statement in response to your initial question.So when did that invasion of kuwait take place? That too would have told you the year if you knew your history.

What thinkest thou? Who do you think started the war that brought the United States and its coalition allies, which included troops from Muslim countries landing on the soil of Iraq? Iraq invaded Kuwait, a Muslim country that was economically progressive because of trade ties with the West and other Muslim countries as well. Saddam Hussein's troops inflicted atrocities on their co-religionists. Saddam threatened to invade Saudi Arabia as well. Oil flow to the rest of the world would stop, or at best, tightly controlled by Saddam once he got hold of the Saudi oilfields. So was the invasion of Iraq a Christian crusade, or a combined effort of both the West and non-radical Muslim countries to preserve the viability of the world's oil based economy?
