Saint-Cloud is a very upscale near-suburb of Paris, kind of just over the Seine, on the West Side (sort of). It is very hilly. It has a very interesting history, and we ...
No, I was in agony and was glad when the outing ended, but I took a
Tramadol yesterday and made it to the Louvre and a restaurant lunch ... I
cheated! He wants to go to Le Marais today so I will probably dose myself
again. This museum's orangérie looks like a perfect hangout for a sedate
Saint-Cloud Sunday lunch. The prices were terrifying, but hey, I think most
of the people who live there can afford it!!! :)
Your tours are SO GOOD. I hear positive feedback from them all the time,
especially given that they get a ride, jump queues, and get freebies from
your access. Hopefully you had a much better accueil at this pastry section
than you did when you visited Alsace and were trying to promote the quality
of their goods. Lucky for them they are still getting the residuals of that
promotional clip, however.
Yup, yesterday. Lots of clips but only one very short one is up just now
... another art foray today and then I hope to get everything up. Internet
connections can be very iffy in France if you can get them at all! A lot of
people come here and are completely amazed that their gadgets are useless
(even portable phones)!
Thanks! This was last weekend. Organ failures are hell! Today, I gave in
and took a pain pill before attempting a Louvre visit on a major holiday. I
had a good time and managed public transportation, too. Sometimes, a pill
is necessary ... I really do look ill and some people were looking at me
funny. Oh, well! :)
Aahhhh, the pastries....NOMNOMNOM,...hehehehe....beautiful museum and
considering ya made it up the stairs o.k., may i take this as evidence
you're feeling better? Take care beautiful, its cloudy here also, i can see
why you like cool weather, its very pleasant, thumbs up!! =D
I think many people would consider this place boring, but hey, I'm getting
older and I found it to be charming. Saint-Cloud has quite a vibe to it.
Very, very "ancienne régime," not sure if I am spelling that correctly . .
