+HowtobeFancy I checked the H&M website every day for weeks to get them, they finally came back in stock so I snapped two up, then they took so long to arrive that I actually forgot I'd even ordered them, haha. Hope you manage to get your hands on them, they're worth the wait :) good luck! x
+Gemma Tomlinson I would be interested in seeing a video on this topic as someone who is animal friendly trying to go completely cruelty free. Something about the complexity of the issue as well as some of your favourite brands, etc would be amazing. I know it can be a polarizing topic so I would love to know more about it from an industry insider!
+Jennifer Williams It's definitely an issue that is important to me, and I think the way individuals let it impact their choices is interesting as everyone has a different idea of what totally cruelty free means and even black and white lists of companies throws up some conflicts. I've been involved in the cosmetic industry for about eight years now either working for brands or for myself and it's been great to see the strides that have been made, I'm lucky to have access to brands and representatives and it's something that I have discussed many times with them, it's not always a comfortable conversation for a PR person to have but it is important to me. I was overjoyed when the EU Ban came into effect, but I know some people also don't wish to support any brand who sell to China (although I've read that they have relaxed their stance on mandatory testing which is great) - personally I find it very difficult in that respect when it comes to parent companies. One example is Smashbox, certified cruelty free by PETA but part of Estee Lauder who trade in China, another The Body Shop, part of L'Oreal. Another issue for me is the validity of the lists themselves. For a multitude of reasons I am not the biggest fan of PETA despite sharing many of their values, and whilst their lists are useful I have seen things with my own eyes that contradict them. I was fortunate enough to visit L'Oreal labs and watch some testing/learn more about the synthetic skin they have put millions of pounds into developing and I raised the issue of animal testing there with the director of marketing. They didn't shy away from the fact that they have tested in the past and experienced regret, and explained that the justifiable knock to their reputation led to them developing new humane ways to test. Despite that and despite what I witnessed myself, they remain on PETA's list as testing and I get tonnes of comments whenever I mention L'Oreal but nobody citing anything that I can look at as evidence to make an informed decision. I'm writing a total essay here but I didn't want to answer this shortly as it's much more complex for me. As someone who likes to see evidence to back up claims, whether that is from PETA or a company themselves, the variation of information can be a minefield, not to mention the hearsay and outdated information that flies around on the subject. When the water is muddy for consumers to navigate I think it's best to campaign for change in legislation and law reform so prior to the EU Ban it was something I actively wrote to representatives about/signed petitions regarding. I think in a world where companies do bad things I'm in favour of making said things illegal, and it's something I find even more complex when I look at a bigger picture - as a long time vegetarian and recent vegan I also get conflicted if a skincare brand or makeup line doesn't test but is part of a company who sell fur and leather as part of affiliated lines, I don't know, it's really bloody hard not to mention depressing. In short, I try and do my best. I know the CFDA are allowing alternatives to animal testing now and that's great, and I hope they apply that to imported as well as domestic products, I keep reading articles that confirm and then deny this!

Sinon as tu
Vichy Calming Cleansing Solution Review & Demo
There are things that you notice AFTER you film that really bother you. Like, my bra strap for instance. I felt like it was staring at me during the entire time I was ...
My alltime favourites for removing make up are face foam cleansers - my
favourite brand for over a year is Kahne (it's local brand), but I've also
tried Nivea and similar brands that i find just as satisfying. Why I like
foam so much? Because you just put it on and then wash it away - no pads,
no unnecessary roughnes for your skin and the resault is really clean skin.
Thanks so much for the comment though, it was really helpful! But yeah, it definitely differs from person to person. The Chanel cleansing milk is DEFINITELY expensive!!
Well, that's bad to hear, it could be that your skin is very high sensitive around the eyes, but that would have to happen with other products too. I'm no expert, so I can't say why, maybe you jist happend to have some really agressive foam .. who knows?! I can only say that it works very well for me, but I guess not for everyone :( Besides foam wich is my favourite, there's one product I really liked, but it's more expencive one. Two years back I received Chanel cleansing milk for present - I put it on my face and then wash it away (I dodn't use pads) and the result was quite great. But that product is kind of expencive and I think foams do great job for me, so I didn't rebuy it. I think everyone should just try a few things and find out what's best for them - I don't think there's one magical cleanser out there that we will all be satisfied with .. so good luck to everyone! ;)
+Adorkable DIY corner Thanks for sharing! I've tried foam before but it burns the areas around my eyes! :( Maybe I just need to use a more sensitive foam wash? Thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into those brands. :D
I need to try this, because wipes are NOT working for me either! haha by
the way, where did you find those cotton pads where you slip your fingers
in? They are nifty!! :)
+Fiercely Demure From a Korean makeup store in our nearest "Korea-town" (which is really a Korean-strip...mall) that is two hours away from me! :(They're SUPER handy! I just ran out though...so sad.
I want to try this!! And I love your personality :D I use the neutrogena
oil-free eye makeup remover, and I really like it--it works so well! Great
demo/review!!
+missmakeup Thanks so much, and thanks for watching! I've used that one before and for some reason it didn't work for me, but I'm glad it does for you! I hear so many good things about it!
