Hello Mike! What a wonderful presentation and video, everything is really
well defined and easy to understand even for non english native speakers,
may I ask you if I could use some of the information you've used in your
presentation for a project I have to do?.
+Nelson Camilo Orduz Illidge I'm glad you liked it. Yes, you can use portions of it under what is called "fair use" of copyrighted material. You can't take the whole presentation, of course! ;) But, yes, please use small portions as long as you properly attribute them to me or Mountain Goat Software. Good luck with your presentation.
Thanks Mike for such a knowledgeable session!
I anyways like and learn through your books, for the first time I went
through your video and got equally impressed and got to know new things.
I specially liked your Balance between development team and Management in
this video.
Keep posting and help us gain knowledge.
+Mike Cohn That's terrific Mike! I guess that's part of the "storytelling" approach I see you adopt, wich keep things impressed on the mind of the listeners so effectively. Never gonna be forgotten!
Thanks, Luca. I have temporary Scrum tattoos that I often put on myself for the second day of Scrum classes just as a joke. ("Look what I got last night!") I actually did go to a place once to get a real one, but there was a three-hour wait. I may do it someday--Scrum is enough of my life that I should.
Cornelius thanks for this video and all the great supportive material you
have available to PMP students. I would like to know the difference between
CEU's and Contact Hours. When I initially started my training - my
instructors called the hours one needed for the PMI application approval -
CEU (continuing education units). A few years ago the CEU was no longer
used in PMI PMP documents. Do you know the reason for the change? Thanks.
Elaine Jackson, PMP Massachusetts
@ElainePMP2008 The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally
recognized measure of participation in an approved non-credit continuing
education program. One Continuing Education Unit (1.0) is defined as: Ten
contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education
experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction, and qualified
instruction.
My best guess is, that PMI chose to go with the 1 hour = 1 PDU approach,
because every month hundreds of PMI Chapter dinner meetings happen around
the world and the presentations given at those meetings are usually 1 hour
in duration. So this makes it much easier to track and report. Until Next

The Professional Development Unit (PDU) was established by PMI as the
educational metric for project management educational activities. One PDU
is earned for each contact hour spent in structured learning, which is
relevant to project management. For conversion purposes, one (1) CEU
equates to 10 PDUs.
How to Claim PDUs
this video shows how to claim PDUs that you earned through PM Simplify.
