How to reset your minecraft server (MAC)

If you get an "outdated client" error when you try to connect to your IP, g to minecraft.net and download the server.jar file again to replace your "outdated client".

Say I'm running a minecraft server, and for about a week I save and quit the server (I type the command 'stop' and it saves the chunks and shuts down the server) but then I place TNT and it destroys everything, is there any way i can reload one of them automatic saves? So I can go back to before I placed the TNT? Thanks!

For some reason, start.command is not working when i double click it nothing comes up and i can not type on it. The server is running by itself but i need to get start.command to work so i can add more plugins and do some important stuff...

When there's world in my folder it will say outdated. I deleted world I tried the server it said cannot connect refused server. And when I delete the world folder I run the 64 server thing and it puts world back. Can anyone help?

@SP4RKZx Sorry...... If you still havent figured it out (lol) you need to update the client (dl the latest version). keep in mind, the servers' client needs to be updated as well so there may be down time

whenever i try to start up my server it says *maybe their is another port running* it worked fine until my sis pressed shut down on my computer and it had a warning saying java was still running help plz

i accidentally deleted heaps of the files, and now i can't even open up the server. Everytime i try it says there is already a server on that port and now i can't stop the previous server. Help?

The IP you used: was that your external IP or your internal IP? I'm trying to test my server from another computer at another internet connection and I'm not sure which IP to enter in.

Thanks for this vidéo could reset my kids server ( they asked me ) For the guys complaining they lost the old map, just think you can save the old "World" folder!

Go to priviacy and security and unlock the lock in the bottom left then click anywhere on the thing

Delete all the files from the server and it Should work once it's re-installed not sure :l

thnx :), the trick is to clean you're mac up sometimes and delete unused or superfluous apps.
