antes no me aparecia.

Thanks for this, but after I install the first driver the only device in my
"Other devices" is a keyboard filter. My sound was working for the first
time in a month today until I dropped a fiber one bar on the keyboard, so I
suspect a physical problem too though.

My issue is much more complex. I had audio doing what you did. Only problem
is one day it stopped again. It then installed its own driver from windows
xp sp3 into the audio location. I went to safe mode and uninstalled the XP
drivers. Then I tried to re install the Conexant drivers. Only problem is
after selecting the have disk option and referring the system to the INF
file. You can't click next or install the drivers. Any help would be great.
Microsoft UAA is installed. Thanks!
after you install the microsoft uaa bus driver click no restart computer
later then go to control panel add hardware then just keep hiting next
until it asks for the cd then hit cancel now go two system hardware device

where did you get the .exe files from that were already in the flder you
creeated, AND I have no "extract to" menu item when I right click on the
sp34200 .exe. Actually, I have no yellow question marks in device manager
either but I STILL have no sound on the laptop. it is the dv6000 running
