3rd Carboot sale haul video and orders going out for Ebay Saturday 25th October 2014 UK SNES
3rd pick up video of items to re sell on Ebay, plus a great buy of SNES games off gumtree. Also had a good Friday so showing you what I am posting this ...
Thanks for your reply. I have been away for 18months in Australia still doing some buying and selling but coming back this summer and hoping to pick it back up, couldn't remember postage prices! Think I will look into MyHermes though! Thanks :)
+xMissNicholex with Royal mail it is £2.80 to post up to 2kg 2nd class you have to add £1 for it to be signed for, I use MyHermes though mostly because that is tracked and insured up to £50 for £2.78 for 1kg and £3.78 for 2kg.
Lovely Nintendo deal - awesome sales especially the trainers, such a
lucrative market… I was up late last night and slept through my alarm this
morning so was late to the boot sale - only one left running round here on
a saturday now.. I hate being late to a sale, really winds me up. Didn't
get much, everything was so over priced this morning…
Don't you just hate aggro people at the sales, I was actually threatened once - I found a stall with a guy selling off his entire CD collection a few years back - I had made several stacks of ones I wanted and was going through the rest when another dealer came up and started picking up my stacks and taking CDs out - I politely pointed out that they were already spoken for and he just flew off the handle , I was met with a barrage of abuse which ended up with him saying 'watch your back when you leave, I'll be waiting…!! WTFNot sure if I will even get out to the sales tomorrow, as we are having a birthday party for my daughter in the afternoon (she will be 13!!!) and will have loads to do.. might try and squeeze an early one in… the season is rapidly coming to an end, the one I went to this morning was pathetic :(Good job I have an absolute ton of stock to see me through the lean times :)
Yeah trainers can be so good especially if you find the right ones, have done bootsales in other places but never come across the volume and quality that you do down here. There was one guy who actually wrestled a decent pair of Air Max off me this morning, yanked them out my hand, thought he obviously needs them more than me. Hopefully pick up a few more deals tomorrow.
No not really, if they have lots of games and are asking £2 each you might get 3 for £5 or 6 for £10, but rare that someone will have that many games you actually want. You can do deals with sellers the more you buy from them, but sometimes can end up almost buying stuff just for the sake of it. Did you go out this morning?
Carboot sale and charity shop haul how to make money on Ebay UK Zelda Oracle of Ages Seasons
Just a quick round up of some of the items I buy to resell on Ebay. A quiet Carboot sale, but some good Charity shop items in the week.
Love the Zelda Color bundle, you did really well with that one and the
boxes look in brilliant condition. I am sure you could peel that sticker
off with a hairdryer. Are you going to re sell it now or hang onto it for a
while?
Sounds like a good idea, it's been a manic week for me :| sorting through my Playmobil every evening after work and all weekend. But it's all done and listed now so hopefully should start seeing the benefits of the time invested
+Ben Fitzpatrick got it listed incase it peaks anyones interest this Christmas, but in no hurry to sell it, the value won't go down! Hope your having a good week mate!
Up to a grand on the boots I like it, in this game you have to be prepared
to pay up, there's always a risk the market in a particular item can
suddenly drop, but you are well and truly safe with the DMs. Your right
with the sony I have 2 or 3 they just aren't going for £20/25 anymore, I've
done great picking up trainers this week, actually most were Facebook buys,
I'm going to do a haul vid on them. So please do check it out, decent haul
thanks.
Oh if they were worn that's good. With Nikes and adidas it's worth googling the label product code make sure shows the same pair of trainers in images as they are selling. Otherwise just Google how to spot fake..... And will show you everything. Some makes I don't touch because they are faked loads. I haven't brought trainers off fb simply because I have 100s and find it quite hit and miss, will need to have a look every now and then though.
+Joe Crisp-Hihn yes I know you have to be careful with fakes but I'm certain these are genuine and I did ask were they, I know people can lie but 3 pairs had been worn. I just usually look at the quality and labels,is there any tips you could give to make 100% sure? I know you have to be very careful with uggs.
Yeah the initial risk in the first £250 for 10 pairs once I realised they were selling brought them as and when I needed them, don't think I would have had the nerve to fork out £1000 in one go.
I have seen a few trainers on Facebook, but if they are new you have to be pretty careful because they are often fakes that people can't shift on EBay.
Carboot Sale Pick Ups Haul UK How to make Money on Ebay as a Seller
Carboot Sale Pick Ups from Saturday and a few sales, was going to put these videos together, but was being awkward.
Hi Joe. Thought about you this morning when I saw 2 Rosetta Stone boxes for
€1 each ! Although I have a couple of questions about them. First one is
missing the "software" bit, there is only the activation key and the "audio
companion". I bet this is worthless right ? For the other one, it seems to
be complete (appart from the headset), I just wanted to know how the
product key works, I mean can it be reused ? Thanks in advance !
+Maxime Clairet I have sold them without the headset no problem, just obviously make it known in the listing. Regarding the product keys I have always resold and not had a problem with the product keys being used on other machines, I'm not 100% sure about this but think they can be reused. There is sometimes some online content which has an activation code and I think that may only be able to be used once, but I am not at all certain about that. Sorry Can't be more help. £1 is fantastic, well done.
08.11.2014 Carboot Sale Pick up Haul video for Ebay Reselling. Nike Levis PC Big Box Vans
Another Haul video of items I picked up this morning at the carboot sale and some bits from charity shops in the week. Not had a great week of sales, but ...
All BIN they would really struggle to sell at the prices I put them on at auction, have more control this way. If they don't sell in the first month I will knock them down £2 £3 £5 depending on how expensive they are and try for another month and keep trying until they sell. My listings are all Free P+P so thats about £3-£4 per pair of trainers.
Boot sale is all year round New Years day, Christmas eve, pretty sure it doesn't stop for anything, obviously the weather affects turn out, but there will always be someone there!
I don't really have time to do out going videos, I work full time, I sometimes put what I have sold on the end of a haul video. Chose Ebay because sell a lot of clothes and trainers and people need to see photos. I could move my books, DVD, Games etc onto Amazon, but have found things doing well on Ebay so in no hurry to change.
No boot sales round here - picked up a few bits in charity and supermarkets
though - might do a vid tomorrow ormondy
Loving the Body Rap !! made me laugh out loud - that guy on the box has
'wicked fresh style' PMSL
Great finds as aways :)
I have loads of them listed, they seem to be advertised at quite high prices, harder to actually shift thought!
06.12.2014 Carboot sale Charity shop pick up haul video uk ebay reseller making money
Video showing what I picked up this morning and a few things throughout the week from charity shops. Link to my Video showing how I took advantage of CEX ...
Great pickups. I saw a pair of Nike Hi Top Blazer style trainers in a
charity shop for £6.50 today I passed on them because I've never sold
trainers before, were they good value at the price do you think? (they
seemed in decent shape). I buy a lot of video games, I tend to only spend
over £2 a game if its something I know is rare, do you have a similar rule
with trainers e.g. try to get them under £5 (unless its something rare)
Hi I try to avoid setting rules for how much I would pay for things, its about knowing individual values. As you know you see a copy of Conkers Bad Fur Day N64 for instance, I would pay anything up to £60 for it as have sold it for £90 in the past, but there are 100s of ps2 games I wouldnt pay 10p for. You have to look at the item individually. For instance £6.50 for a decent pair of Blazers is a good buy because the will sell for £25 as long as they are a decent size. Anything from a UK5 up. But just as long as they are blazers, there are other nikes, like court force which look a bit like blazers which arent worth as much.
