+Ansh Saini Just download full stock rom package from xda k3 note thread and in your pc download sp flash tools and select the scatter file in it which came with stock rom package. Press download and then connect your phone.

+Ansh Saini If its been after this process then its because you didn't check DA DL all with checksum in TWRP options. If it is for some other reason, then you need to flash full stock rom package using TWRP.

I tried on 5.12.15 and it works fine for me. i checked with root checker app and it shows root access enabled. thanks Mr.Shaswat for the easy understandable video and keeping all files in one place ie dropbox. before trying your method, i followed few other methods, those links are not valid. keep up the good work.

+teodor sila use google chrome for translating. And you have to register 4pda to download files from it. You need CWM, Flashtool and SuperSU. To uninstall programs i used jumobile.

+Gustavo Concha Sencebé hola, si a la primera me salió. Y sobre la rom, solo hice exactamente lo que indican los videos. Una cosa muy importante, si no te sale a la primera ni a la segunda peor a la tercera, el problema radica en los drivers, ojo con eso es muy importante. En la página donde postean estos vídeos también ponen un pack aparte de drivers no son los drivers que muestra el video, a mi me pasó eso en otra computadora, depende de la compu que utilices usarás los drivers correctos, y también el sistema operativo, te recomiendo no lo uses con Windows 8 en adelante, no son muy compatibles. Hazlo con Windows 7. Suerte amigo.

Hola,he probado a instalar el recovery siguiendo todos los pasos del video y no se reinicia en el modo bootloader con la pantalla negra y las letras que se muestan en el video,simplemente ni se inmuta. Alguna idea? Gracias

+Zia Rahman It depends what ROM you're using. I don't have this ROM on the phone anymore (the stock ROM that shipped with it is some weird hybrid version that I can't seem to find anywhere).

+Aurelio Contreras Only with the Chinese apps. There are ways to hack it to get it working with other apps as well, I think, but I never got around to finding out how.

+AdvoGadget Got some time to mess with flashing ROW rom today, loving it so far, OTA updates working.Kinda miss the "quick reboot" option when powering off, but "Ultimate Power" seems to function similar to it without having to power off the phone.Well, thanks again.

+R2Mintus The best resource to look for different roms is here at XDA developers: //forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/organized-thread-lenovo-k3-note-k50-t3158522 - the Indian rom is probably the best option if you don't want to worry about rooting and all that stuff to remove the annoying Chinese VibeUI bloatware/adware.

+R2Mintus Apologies for the delayed response - YouTube's comment notifications seem to be broken for my channel. Yes, it was all installed stock. The stock ROM was some bizarre unofficial ROM though. I've long since gotten rid of it in favour of the Indian "ROW" stock rom from Lenovo.

I have read in comments that we cannot add widgets with 3rd party launchers. I hope that I can use the Themer launcher which has lots of customization options without the need to add widgets. Will it support Themer??

+Soham Maiti In newer versions of the firmware, I was able to add widgets with Nova Launcher. So I'm guessing that this limitation shouldn't affect you as long as you have a newer version of the firmware.
