The crazy thing is most people would find it easier to shoot a person than a dog, we see dog's like we do children. So the question has to be how can we trust someone to protect us and look out for our interests if they can so callously kill an animal most of us see as family, without a second thought? You can't, this is more than just response training, this is sociopath/psychopathic behaviour, and should be tested for and rooted out of law enforcement. There can never be trust when sociopaths/psychopaths are not just put in trusted positions, but are actively sought after. Without trust in the enforcement of the law, to be acted out within the law in a morally accepted way. We can expect nothing less than a tyrannical society of repressive laws for the masses, within a lawless society for the few who's job it is to make and enforce said tyrannical laws, all made in the name of safety and security. Who's safety and security?
