pal0palo, those "things around the arms" are sleeve garters. They go back
to when store-bought shirts had one sleeve length: "too long." To keep your
hands from vanishing in the cuffs, you grew your arms longer, or bought
tailored shirts, or used sleeve garters. Wesley does not really need them,
but they add to the "1909" look. Women at that time might wear whalebone or
featherbone corsets, and would have ample hats, much more substantial than
Wesley's. Google for "period costume."
Beautiful and clean play, not too fast but may proper for composer's
original intention, who wrote "Moderato" in his first publication of 1909.
Anyway, I try to play this by guitar with my own arrange, in which I mixed
both publications of his own in 1909 and 1924... ;-)
@pal0palo those are things people used to wear in this country back when
our culture had class. Flash forward 100 years and most younger Americans
dress like prison inmates, complete with shaved heads and tawdry tatoos.
Modern popular music is equally rotten.
I still need sleeve garters. Can't buy shirts with a 19" neck and a 29"
sleeve, and tailored is just too expensive. Of course, the garters are from
the UK.

I wish that I heard this song back when I was in my early years of high
school (13 - 15, when I learned just how shitty, artificial and pathetic
people can be), I would have Identified with it so much haha
+Loot BruteI clicked your name and it just takes me to your google+ page where there is no way to send you messages or discussion boards. Can you just say what site what I should look for, please?
+frankenstiensbitch I've had Reality 86'd on my watch later list for a while, I just never had time to watch it. I really want to though, I'll probably start watching it in chunks. As for the torrents where did you find them and what where they called?
+Leiria65 Yeah, the later albums never captured their real sound! You should check out some bootlegs of the in my head tour I have found 3 so far and they are awesome/intense.. just check the torrents. Plus check out "Reality 86'd" its a film of the last tour.
Id love to see the rest of this. Sounds amazing. Plus its problably mostly In My Head songs which Id really like to have good quality live versions of. The songs on the album are good but personally the albums production ruined the studio version of nearly all of them
+mb1a1 This video was uploaded before and I remember a comment that said that it was March 7th in L.A. This was meant to be Live'86 just like LIve'84 and Who's got the ten 1/2 (Live 85).. but it was never released. Thanks Ginn! Would love to see the rest of this set too.
It's obviously latter day black flag, can't date it exactly but it is most likely late 86 thru 87. Would be nice if there was a little more info like venue or city.
