Thanks. My neighborhood mechanic was stumped, but your instructions worked for me. Better than covering it up with a piece of duct tape, which may have become my Plan B.

see the tachometer?? car is not running. it's on for a couple seconds. when the reset was done, I pressed the button again to "off" then pressed button again to "on" the car, just so happened I got it before it turned off and shot the clip. take notice that I edited this video.
