Marty Feldman was a friend whom I miss very much. He was a comic genius and truly gentle soul. Not many Americans know that in his homeland, Marty was ...
God has no condition or place in mind, religions, concepts. It can not be
represented by anything because it is the absolute. The soul consciousness
of everything.
every man who listens, I told him this. If you do not change your
destructive behaviors, the Earth will die in his humble silence. No man can
do anything, chaos and destruction in his path sow tears and tragedies that
no human imagination is capable of creating.
It is not fear that speaking here, but logic because it is logical, when
you hurt something, we do violence to him, that thing responds, and this is
what will make the land so do not stop. Nay, she already does. Storms,
tsunami, fire, earthquakes, volcanoes, meteorites.
Any negative man in itself attracts the negative in life.
Any negative civilization create a negative collective consciousness and
therefore attracts negative consequences.
If humanity is negative, and in negativity we hear destruction, violence,
hatred and all the rest of it, then it will reap what it has sown, of
negativity in the rough.
Men will see the nature surged against them if they do not stop killing and
being unaware of their behavior.
It is time to wake up.
Together we create, in division we destroy.
Thought the same. Marty definitely studied and loved most of the great
movie slapstick comedians from the silent through early 1930s era, but here
definitely a lot of Chaplin is evident. Yet, Marty is able to bring an edge
to it by totally leaving out the Chaplin trademark melodrama (I am a huge
fan of Chaplin BTW). This is pure nonsense and the timing is perfect! BTW:
I am from Germany and hugely embarrased by our lame attemps of copying this
stuff and watering it down during the 1970s...
I remember the Marty Feldman Comedy Machine that was on Friday nights
during the summer. It was a very short lived show that had some of the
greatest comedy I've seen. I would disagree that he's the British version
of Woody Allen, Marty Feldman was more like a combination of Buster Keaton
and Ben Turpin. I would love to get copies of his show if anyone knows
where they may be purchased. His best remembered sketch was the thing in
the box that he took to the Vet.
Anyone comparing Feldman to Allen is doing Feldman a great dis-service. Not
only was Feldman a great comedy writer he was also the best physical
comedian since the silent days his timimg was prefect. Cleeese once wrote
on a comparison a paper made to Feldman: "I am nothing next to Marty i
would also be nothing if it was not for Marty, he influenced me more than
anyone. A great man a genius and above all a friend"
I haven't seen these clips since the Marty Feldman Show was on TV in the
USA decades ago. Marty had a following in the US prior to Young
Frankenstein. He was a remarkable man, writer, and comedian. The Monster in
the box routine was performed on the Flip Wilson show before an live
audience. At the end of the show the Monster in the box was revealed. Jack
Benny did a Cameo as the revealed Monster.
Hello there. Gosh, you were lucky to know Marty. I only feel as though I
do. I'm an ex Brit living in New Zealand. I was a comedian in Christchurch
NZ during the 80's and even performed a few of Martys sketches in my earl
shows before I'd written many of my own. I can still do some of his best
stuff, his parts, Tims & Johns, voice perfect .... but I could never do the
eyes .... funny that :)
When one thinks of all the great geniuses of the world, hidden from global
popularity for whatever reason, it makes one sad. There's no nation on
Earth with great artists who are not given the attention they deserve.
Thanks to people like you and with the help of the internet, they can be
rediscovered. I'll be sure to see as many MF movies as I can in near
future. :)
I'm a silent film aficionado and have noticed the resemblance of Feldman's
work to Keaton, but have never seen it elsewhere acknowledged (though I may
not have seen the right sources). Thank you for confirming my suspicion and
thank you for posting! I'll admit I am more familiar with his film work
than his sketches so your posts are a treasure!
Spike Milligan and Marty Feldman were two of the greatest comedians of the
20th Century. To have made a series together is heaven for me. Just wish
the bloody BBC would release it on DVD! You can easily see Spike wrote this
skit. It reeks of his experiences in WWII, especially the way the sergeant
acted.
Are you seriously quoting ED as a valid source or something? You realize
that site is for trolling? Anyway, that's simplistic and boring. CC has
tons of funny shit, you just don't bother to watch it because your head is
too far up south park's ass.
Couldnt agree more, id rather watch this then any episode of Little
Britain. Python is great too, but overplayed on tv - I mean ive seen this
tonight for the first time and im 44!! - bloody funny. Was that Spike as
the corporal???
Have you seen the one where he's playing golf and the ball ends up going
all over the place including a fountain, a train, a truck of sand and gets
swallowed by a bird? thats one of the funniest I've seen...good ol' marty!
As you must well know, you were fortunate to have such a friend in your
life. He was an AMAZING talent and a favorite of mine and so many others.
Thank you so much for sharing these.
I remember watching Marty Feldman's show 'The Marty Feldman Comedy Machine'
on tv here in Australia back in the 70s. The titles were animated by Terry
Gilliam as were various sketches.
Yes! I remember that sketch. He said he couldn't find it in the book of
mammals, or the book of reptiles, or even the book of birds. He finally
found it in the Book of Revelation!
i remember this show when it aired....classic tv.....loved the sketch when
he was following someone and takeing there picture....i think it was one of
his funniest...
Marty has been one of my all-time favorites since the 80's. Thanks for
sharing these amazing videos and the information about him. He's definitely
a world icon.
Are you referring to his liaison with his adopted daughter? No blood
relation ship there, so what is the problem exactly? He fell in love with a
lady and moved on.
Brilliant and original comedian in his own right (not just the missing link
between Chaplin and the Pythons). But even British telly hardly ever shows
him :-(
And you would be correct. I have one last one that I'll put up that I
believe aired both on the American "Golddiggers" show as well as the
"Comedy Machine."

lol yah, you make some of the best robots but none of them can really walk
good like a human you should try to make legs that can really copy human
legs o good idea make a motion sensored to copy your legs, i will take no
credit out of it i just want to see it in a video make it walk smooth to
most robots are like riged ok thats all cuss your the best builder of
robots, i have good ideas but i can't make them a real cuss i don't have
the money :( but thats ok i just want too see it :)
you should add a lot of big servos. add to the front and back add 2 robot
feet and 2 robot hands and 2 fake eyes that have shade in it add 2 camera's
and 4 small servos for the feet and hands add a 2 car batterys to go in the
belly then you have a big big robot that is like a human and if you want
add rubber skin that is like real skin and glue finger nails on it and add
a mouth and add a nose and you have the first human robot that can walk
talk and kill you lol
I know it's a bit late, but you pretty much described my plans for a very
basic humanoid robot. Pressure sensors on the hands and such send data to
individual arduino or similar microprocessor boards to do different
operations, while the EZB acts as the 'brain' of the robot with connections
to all of the other subsystems.
@ExplosivetipStudios Apple sadly locks down the bluetooth in their devices.
We have contacted apple a while ago to see if they had a plan to open the
bluetooth connection for products like mine. Sadly, they did not reply .
