No, it's not.I give them mad respect for having those kinds of values and the discipline to stand behind them without some form of big stick ready to smack them should they fail. I could never do it. @kickouttheyuppies I respect you bro. Cannabis smoker here. When I meet someone and we end up having the same interests I'll ask them if they smoke. What do I do if they don't? Nothing. I grew up on the Syracuse music scene. I have never been sXe nor will I ever be, but I have a lot of respect for their beliefs, as long as they don't push it on everybody. Back in the 90's and early 2000's were some of the best shows Syracuse has ever had and a lot of it had to do with the strong sXe scene. I miss the concerts, I miss the people and I honsetly miss the scene, which has seemed to slowly turn into fashion-core.

@ToolOfTrade Since almost everyone interviewed is now between the ages of 38 and 50, and have children and families, calling them "kids" is a bit odd. Some of them are pro-life, and some of them are pro-choice. Some are left wing, a couple might be right wing. Most are straight, one is gay. @Guav best friends include one who´s straight edge, who s recently become vegan, one who was vegan-straight edge, then i introduced him to mind expansing/psychedelic substances (hes very grateful for that) and one vegetarian, who loves beer. same here man i went a jesuit HS in NYC and i was the only edge kid in my school and a lot of ppl made fun of me for it. A couple ppl respected my choice but no one decided to claim. I saw this show in the mid 90's. I knew about punk bands like Dead Kennedys, Minor Threat, etc etc... but seeing this showed me a modern HC scene and it was my introduction. After seeing this segment on TBS I seeked out Earth Crisis and found bands like Snapcase, Strife, Integrity, etc etc etc. i am glad to see this video again... almost 15 years later!

I was there, lived in Capas Tarlac, was friends with many Aquino organizers one of whom ran into one of Marcos salvage teams and lost his life. I was in the streets when the Tanks refused the order to fire on the crowd. Saying someone is "Brainwashed" is a pretty convenient way to discount experiences and ideas that run contrary to your own but it doesn't change the truth.
