Hey Chris, good video. It really is unfortunate that my instructor and I can not fly in and out of College Park Airport as they have a nice Aviation Museum there, cheap fuel, next to UMD, and metro. I train at BWI airport and as a student pilot, I had immediate exposure to SFRA flight planning and ATC communication. I'm really getting good at talking with ATC so I agree with you 100% about always, even durring VFR, request flight following. Hopefully the FAA/ TSA will open up College Park again

Unless you're not already licensed yourself,you can fly in there with your instructor if he or she is vetted for the airport.I made this video quite a few years ago so procedures may have changed.

Hey Chris, I am now a licensed pilot (and instrument rated) since the last time I commented. I also have my PIN and have flown a few times in and out of College Park, very nice airport. I love it.
