It is a shame to say, but the thing is that English is NOT my mother tongue. For me it's a little hard to make out what he sings, specially because of the choir. I tried to do some research about the lyrics on the Net, but it was not successful. Would you be so kind to help me out? Thank you very much.

When I first heard Jake perform "Even in Your Doubt, it was opening night at Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles. Jake stood behind the microphone, with no piano to hind behind, the audience got a glimpse of the man behind the music. This video captures the essence of that moment for all the world to see.

This song is on Elliot 's solo Cd "Change No Change" ; the additional tracks with the band called "Band of Angels". I have the Cd and it is really good. Out of all the members solo work in the mid-80's, Elliot was the only one who stayed true to his rock and roll roots. All are good, but it would be more difficult to pinpoint the era of his songs if you did not know when it was released, but the others are definitely 80's inspired. I don't know why they didn't release "Band of Angels" ?

had this album (cassette) when it first came out in the early 90s. Liked this tune, but didn't realize it was the same guitarist from "The Cars" band. Few will argue Elliot has arranged some, if not THE, best pop solos ever recorded.
