You can have my trailer in Tucson if I am lucky enough to go, see, not all Christians are going. And, instead of complaining about not having a job, get off you able bodied ass, dress appropriately, act professionally and apply at even jobs you feel are below you.  I've been poor my whole life, but I can at least proudly say that no job wasn't good enough, even when going from making 22 an hour back down to 7:50, I realized I should be grateful for what I have and not whine to have people feel pity for me.  But, then, I take personal responsibility.  Give that a go for a change.

What is really funny is so many of the carnival barkers who preach against homosexuality are often homosexuals themselves. I am a married heterosexual and my religion is very clear that homosexuality is a sin, but no real Christian , ( meaning Catholic ), is called to publicly denounce others. Jesus said to instruct those who seek instruction, and if people do not WANT to hear your message, leave them alone. Catholic priests and bishops are to preach the good news. These sidewalk jokers are not even Christian. They are likely evangelical wackos on a mission to recruit other straights to their false assembly. They are wolves in she eps clothing.

I understand where your coming from, but I still disagree with you because truth should never have to conflict with reason and common sense. Jesus never really said anything about being homosexual specifically himself did he? Its found in old testament books like Leviticus. Read Deuteronomy 13 all the way through and tell me its "true" that we should believe killing people of other faiths is also an acceptable practice. I thought the bible says murdering is wrong? Which verse to side with... hmm

I think its terrible that the bible condemns people for being born a certain way. Homosexuality is not always a choice. I'm not interested in a heaven without gay people!!! They all deserve better treatment than they are getting! Christians should be defending the human rights of gays not bullying them into submission! How can God be holy if he says people born gay are evil? If God made them that would make God himself evil. If you fear a God who is not holy you have a mental disorder. PERIOD.

Homophobe? I think you're missing the point. It has nothing to do with being afraid of people because they are gay. You are also confused as to it being their "nature". Even the APA has recanted the "Gay Gene" theory simply because there is no support for it. Focus on the Family has an excellent video on Yahoo regarding homosexuality and children. I highly recommend you search it out and watch it. I think you would agree that it doesn't promote phobia or hate in the least. All the best to you.

@SPIRITandTRUTH777 How can you even call faith an absolute truth? Its absolutely unprovable in any way. People only believe in God because they want to have hope for the future. Faith doesn't prove or disprove anything except the heart of the person believing in whatever faith it is. If there is a God, I'm sure thats why he is asking for faith. It fosters hatred, ignorance, fear, insecurity, suicide, and promotes people feeling bad about themselves when they haven't done anything wrong. Its calling good evil and evil good in a way. Why are you able to accept the bibles word for it and not a human beings word for it? Why do you want to? It really is about what we as people want isn't it?

I don't think I even need to say anything more. Anyone reading our discussion can see that you haven't given any kind of reason why people should be against gay/lesbian lifestyles except that the bible says so. And if thats the only thing you are basing this discussion on then it just shows how morally bankrupt the bible is, and how brainwashed of mutual respect its believers are because they can't think outside of "what the bible says".

@lilreeya1 How would you like it if someone came into your church and started shouting at the top of their lungs about their beliefs which you do not agree with? It is disrespectful of these people to go to a Gay Pride event and talk down to them, they had it coming, it seems to me that these people feel the need to say "poor me, I got picked on by some sinners" no wonder they did, they deserved every bit of it.
