+Nicos Theocharous It's in Colombo, Sri Lanka! There was very little damage caused to colombo during the 2004 tsunami but a lot damage was caused in the south and east of the country! You see those rail? A train was toppled by the tsunami in 2004 which travelled south on those same lines! I guess around 900 on the train died!

lol 9:34-9:37 yeah maybe a suicidal runner, but with all due respect you weren't much off either like especially at 2 minutes in being that close to the wave, I mean you are lucky that wave wasn't a big tsunami otherwise you wouldn't be here with us now, at 2:04 seconds I was thinking to myself "why the heck isn't he running??" lol I mean it just looked like you were in dead mans territory just standing there while the tsunami was comming in. But glad you were ok, and it's a good video.

Thanks for the comments so far. The memory of the surges and the crunching sound when the first wave hit will always be with me. A lot of people are still living in Red Cross dome tents. It's hard to imagine the losses by most. Everything swept away. Not just clothes, furnishings and identity papers, but old photographs, heirlooms and other memories that can never be replaced. It's fortunate that extended families are part of the culture here. I wonder what changes a year will bring?

I thoguht you were carzy but I would do the same thing with the camera. Thanks for the witness the deadly Tsunami. Thankfully my family make it ok too. One god to be thankful for saving your family also. So sad for my village of Leone. My aunt house by the river in Leone still standing but the bottom floor. She is not planning to rebuild.

I always use to think that tsunamis were suppose to be taller than the Empire State Building In New York. But In Reality, they are as tall as a two story building. I'm Speaking from the real life tsunamis I have seen, not movies. But the tsunamis in movies, are what tsunamis should look like in reality. But gratefully, they don't! :)

@toby099 Not too far. Only the first wave went really far back, and that one wasn't recorded because I was getting everyone to safety. You can see the third wave flowing over the seawall and onto the road - that's the one with the sick looking dome coming in.

The 3rd wave (about half-way through part 1) was definately scary, because I didn't know whether that was going to be above road level or not. My recommendation now is that if you find yourself in the same situation, run.

@symmetry08 "There will be great earthquakes" -Luke chapter 21 verse 11. if you look at the statistical data, there has been many more powerful and deadly quakes and tsunamis since the start of the Last days, which if you do the math for the prophecy of "seven times" it will bring you to the exact time that world war 1 started October 1914. 7 Times=2,520 years which is when the line of kings from the House of King David ended. God does not cause the quakes, but knew they would happen. HAARP?

people won't heed this warning. Because, it is too fantastic and dire grim picture for minds. La Palma volcano will collapse very soon. Too soon. One reason is human activity on earth that heated atmosphere and disturbed grounds with extractions. At that time religeos nuts will go crazy about gods and delusional histerias. In part they are responsible for crazy human growth.
