yes xkr is faster - i got 4.9 for xkr, 6.3 for the elise s. but the "so-called amazing elise" is entry level lotus, so dnt try n say its best 1. they r quick on initial acceleration n corners, not straights. in a straight line lotus would get best start, but xkr would win. not in corners tho. they r designed 2 b fast on british b rds n race tracks n they would nail the jag on em. and beyond the entry level lotus, how bout a 2-eleven? 670kg, 0-60 in 3.8"impressive on road and track" 5 stars(evo).

Lets see dumbass, 90% of the Ford GT is American. It was designed by Saleen. 75% was built by Saleen, and 20% was built by Roush. The other 5% are random parts like the European brakes. The SSC is a very reliably built car with a lot of luxury and it is the fastest in the world. It only got 2 min because it wasn't tested and everyone knows Jeremy is biased. About the TKR look at the body. 80% Saleen S7, 10% Pagani and 10% Lotus. The engine is the most powerful in a production car and is American

A Supra will be unreliable. The Evo will be extremely unreliable. A 1000hp Evo is = a 3500hp Z06 for reliability. And the Z06 will destroy the Evo. He liked the Ford GT. But look at reviews of other cars. The Hummers for example. He bags on them and the Tahoe for things they do good at. He does unfair tests of American cars. He doesn't even test the SSC Aero yet he says it will suck because it is American. Well news for you. He is wrong. If you don't know he is biased by now you are helpless.

@millroyboy07 you are correct but i feel the motor is less important sometimes but what you say is true. im american but i love some of britians cars i mean classics like the db5 and the whole Austin line are amazing lol. jags are amazing as well they haven't been as big in recent years but come on there pretty much invented the sport bike lol. and american v8s are just monsters and are reliable at those number which is what give them the edge it cant be denied and i say is a awesome team.

why GM ? now I will tell why GM : cuz most of the mecanic enginiers have gotten to the conclution that GGGGGGMMMMMMMM makes the most reliable engines in the world , if you whant to know how right im, check this brands using GM VETTE MARO engines : barabus TKR, plethoreLS750,Trident aceni,wineck cobra, ulimaGTR,Ulimate aero,Musler, etc etc etc , it all ends up with SMALL BLOCK AND BIG BLOCK GM ENGINES i, it looks like GM is the cheapest and easiest way to make speed worldwide known.

I agree with you 100%. Europeans holds more automobile records than Americans can achieve for the next 100 years. Shoot, 90% of my favorite car's are European. Britain already held the longest title for faster car: McLaren F1, then they crushed land speed record with SSC Thrust. And now they will retake the top speed award again in less than 2 months. And Britain's response to American SSC Aero is: Keating TKR. Take that TheOfficialKC. This will be OFFICIAL before you know it. LOL!

so what you can build an 1100+ supra witha a v6 i believe the deabte here is between stock cars- or you can look at an evo with a 2.something litre engine that can produce 1000 hp- on half the cylinders and less than half the displacement- hell you can put 600hp on a 1.4 litre inline engine from a hayabusa and throw it in a smart car- and my point for why he owns a ford gt is too show that he dosent put the car down- watch the numerous reviews and get ur facts straight

Jeremy is biased. It is pretty obvious. He takes American car (especially trucks) and reviews them in environments they weren't built to be in. The Ford GT is better than the Gallardo. It is a little faster for less money. It is actually more reliable. Jeremy is the only person I have ever heard of to have a problem with it. The Ford GT can handle 1500rwhp without rebuilding the engine. The Gallardo can only handle 800whp.

I've seen it in Muscle Mustangs magazine. They had one that they guy kept creating more powerful, I can't remember his name. Search Ford GT Twin Turbo in Youtube and you will find lots of 800-1000rwhp GTs privately tuned or Heffners and Hennessey mods. Stage 6 motorsports makes a 1500rwhp GT. Search it on google. Search "How to ADD 300 HP to a FORD GT" "Americans and big engines" This is only a 5.4L.

honestly the power plant is not really that big of a deal in a super car its everything else the body the suspension the styling is whats makes a car great. you can get mad horse out of anything with the right amount of money. be proud man hopefully British sport cars can return to there former glory. i say British handling and style mixed with a american v8 beast is a unstoppable team lol.

The original GT40 was designed for a few years in America by Ford then perfected by Shelby in England. So what is your point that Clarkson owned a Ford GT?

Actually SSC didn't cheat. The SSC has a/c, 10 speaker stereo, nav system, dvd/cd player, backup camera. It has all the luxuries of a Veyron. Read up on your info. You do not need a W16 to get 1500hp. The Keating is a copy of the Saleen S7 body, Lotus Elise front, and Pagani Zonda rear.

SSC cheated when beating Bugatti, they took out the AC and leather. WHAT FOOL BUYS A CAR WITHOUT AC UNLESS YOUR RACING ALL DAY!?! And this Brit car looks like another McLaren and Ultima. NO V8 won't get 1500hp (unless you're stupidly smart), you need W-16s.
