One could, perhaps, call me a Microsoft fanboy, but I think if people would simply stop overlooking useful features of Windows 10/8.1, and, just except the fact that there will be a few changes to the OS every now and then, they could be vastly benefited.

And besides, the UI isn't as 'flat' as you describe it to be. It still looks aesthetically pleasing.

Look, it's just a matter of personal opinion. I quite like the simplistic design and how things are just there, working and not trying to look fancy. I half agree with you, however, as I think Microsoft should have an option to enable the aero theme and the 'classic' UI to those who wish to have it, but I, personally, prefer the new metro theme. As a thirteen-year-old student I find the start menu very useful on my non-touchscreen laptop as it allows you to organise it the way you want it to be. For example, I have a group with all of my daily glance apps (weather, mail, calendar) and homework apps (Office suite, Photoshop, Skype). I then have a group for news and entertainment (MSN News, MSN Money, 9Gag) and one for other useful tools (AVG, Maps, 3D Builder). You can't exactly do that with Windows 7 or lower. The best you can do is to pin these to your desktop, but then they don't update with information like they do as a tile.

+Isaac Afshar that's what i want, a familiar but more efficient OS. I don't want a tile themed OS, who the hell does? Maybe on a tablet or touchscreen PC, but the majority of pc's are not this. Bad marketing is bad. lol and really? simpler to use? Was Aero too complicated for you?

Whilst you call it flat, it say it has simplicity. Simplicity gives it an easier interface to use, whilst reducing RAM. However, what I like most about the metro theme is the start menu in Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and Windows Phone. You can have a completely unique, customised UI canvas with your own arrangement of tiles and colours. Windows 7 has a start menu but, unlike the metro theme, it will figuratively look exactly the same when compared with that of other PCs.

+Isaac Afshar how so? The minimize and maximize button in windows 7 glow beautifully, while windows 8 is a flat two-toned color change. Almost as if a kinder gardener designed it.

Although this may physically hurt you, I really hate the aero theme. The metro style is far superior to the aero theme.

+Isaac Afshar Yeah no. Windows 7 definitely trumps windows 8's shitty monochrome and windows 10's pale "transparent" display. Aero glass was the best visual upgrade windows has made, and everything else pales in comparison.

+somedudelol The issue was a scheduled task to defrag.Open Task Scheduler -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Defrag Disable or delete the task.

+somedudelol BUT i do think what you have giving us does work so good job on that

+Amaly Ebenny i tried all that its still spikes at 99% when i close out of a game and after i restart it goes down but like i said if i game or let it sleep goes back to 90% unless my hard drive is fried and window repair is quite worthless because it does nothing
