Is David Cameron really that stupid he would pose on an illegal PFI scandal site PFI is the reason large firms give foreighn contractors all the work to cut cost's NHS is a good example of PFI this is why they employ foreighn nurses to keep down costs Schools are also built using PFI being flipped by private companies for profit directly from taxpayer's pocket And he's actually on site like he's not committing a crime Balfour Beatty makes around 136 million profit from the taxpayer No wonder they want to remain part of the EU Under EU law we can't do anything about it

not many people realize that when politicians were beginning to draft the national firearms act, they specifically requested a translated copy into English of the original Nazi gun control act that Germany implemented right before they began to systematically round up, corner, imprison, and kill millions of their own citizens. the NFA in some cases is almost word for word the same. this lesson from history and others like it prove that gun bans lead to governments killing their own citizens.

People say no guns but when your at home or in the car and the criminal crazy people out there no there is no guns, what do you think they are thinking I can see it now. The crime would be bad. The crime were I am is getting worse. With no guns criminals would just do what they want. There is no jobs here and people are loosing or selling everything they have to survive. And when that is gone they will still have to feed there family. What do you think they will do then?? Just saying...

@EllyMcCormack I get your points and they are good ones. With that said, as long as the USA has the resources(foreign funding) to maintain its military your premise may be correct. My premise is that the USA cannot maintain its level of spending and its military at its present level. This is due to the USA consuming much more than it produces. This is unsustainable. Foreigners such as China are funding the USA and at some point they will pull the plug, will not buy any more treasuries.

@EllyMcCormack The dollar as the world's reserve currency is in jeopardy. Russia and China in bilateral trade are trading in their own currencies. Other countries are joining the fray and others are considering it. Printing money out of thin air to buy imports is not sustainable. "If its too good to be true it probably is". The dollar has declined 95% since 1913. A 1964 quarter in 1964 would buy a gallon of gas. Today the silver content in that same quarter will buy a gallon of gas.

Sorry to harp on about this Reginald but what about the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of January 1943. There the Jews in the ghetto WERE armed (mostly hand guns, some rifles and Molotov cocktails). And they were slaughtered. The Nazis vastly outnumbered them and killed 13000. the remaining inhabitants being shipped off to concentration camps. Real life under the Nazis was not some Hollywood, John McClane Yippee ki-yay gun toting fantasy where the hero can shoot his way to freedom.

Even after watching this vid, where Regi clearly points out how government sponsered genocide is the number one killer in the WORLD and you're still scared about your neighbor having a gun?!?! If I'm right about my statistics, crime has RISEN in the UK since the gun bans have come into effect. Anyhoo the reason Americans have the right to bear arms is bcuz of the government and not bcuz of their fellow citizens.

@dmger14 Maybe in the short run, but in the long run not so much, since things can always change. There are other places in the world for Canada to trade with besides the U.S. that hardly makes anything to trade with nowadays that can't easily be found elsewhere. So in the long run, it seems that only the U.S. will be really affected by its own economic collapse and it will basically be business as usual for Canada and all other countries that actively trade.

@neemz2000 Wow what would you be afraid of, you can be beaten to death, stabbed, strangled, hit by a car, slip and break your neck, and all of that can happen without guns. Why are you afraid of the world? Your mind has been trained to be afraid of guns, it is unrational to have such fear. If someone is gonna go off the deep end, a gun has little to do with it, a cricket bat works just fine.

My jaw just drops when I hear pundits and politicians talk about "getting violence and violent rhetoric out of politics". Are people that deranged that they cant see politics is violence? What do they think state "laws" are; suggestions, requests? And the statistics of all those killed by states doesn't surprise me at all. States are barbaric institutions, cloaked in vague "legitimacy".

@neemz2000 How can you account for the rapid decline in gun violence/murder after the handgun ban in Washington D.C. was lifted? Surely there is a connection. How can you account for the fact that The UK is an island, and the US has Mexico on it's border? It is MUCH harder for criminals to get guns where you are because it can't simply be dragged across the border. We NEED guns here.

@neemz2000 It's not always about living or dying though. it's about resistance to evil at all costs. yes, most would have just died anyway if they did have guns, but one less soldier of a suppressive government is one less soldier killing 5 more innocents the next day. In fact, when law abiding citizens possess guns, violent crime usually drops. You're absolutely right, the person behind the weapon is the issue. The weapon itself is not relevant to violence at all without some agent intent upon either violence or stupidity (i.e playing with loaded weapon) is what leads to death.

@dmger14 Hmm, I read that Canada has actually been doing more trading with Australia, China, and certain parts of Europe and a few other parts of the world so I doubt they'll be hurt much (if at all) by an economic collapse in the U.S.. It'll probably be business as usual for Canada.
