The new X5 is a good SUV off road. The X5 of this video was apsolutely one
of the worst SUVs off road. Still none X5 is a king of SUVs! You say so
because it is a BMW... Check out the Toyota Land Cruiser and then you will
see who's the King of SUV's although it is a Toyota!
haha, thats cool. but i think you would be suprised, so long as you keep
your foot out of the oil pan i have gotten 20mpg of it. i know it isnt
great. but considering its 20 years old, has a 350 (5.7L) 4x4 and has
33x12.5 inch tires im happy with it
Do they think only because they have an SUV that has AWD (all-wheel drive)
means that they dont have to put offroading tires on there i dont care if
you had a vehicle that could glide over mud without the correct tires you
cant do anything.
ya that is the main reason that i got the truck, it is great for towing
things. i personally have a 25foot travel trailer and the truck dose pretty
good with it. but it is also fun to let loose with on the weekend.
haha thanks man, im still workin on it but i would like to make it bigger
:D watch?v=ccgDuBxCvR0&feature=related this is me havin some fun with my
truck runnin over my friends parts car lol
Personaly I laught with those who put on 20 or 21 inch whells at their
SUV's and still believe that they are the best off road...! And off course
it get's better when they get stuck.
you dont even need all that. i have a 20 year old GMC sierra that i wheel,
has none of that and all i have done to the truck is put mickey thompson
baja claws on it
The X5 is not meant for MUD, however and good driver and AGGRESIVE MUD
TIRES helps out alot. Anyone go wheeling with street tires?, you always get
stuck
thats cool, my family is originaly from the ukraine.
BMW F700GS Long Term Owner Review & Competition Comparison
I do an in depth review of the BMW F700GS. Here are links to different sections of the review: What kind of bike is it? 1:17 Open Letter To BMW 3:42 A quick look ...
What does your comment have to do with what I wrote?I sat on a 2016 700gs at the Vancouver Motorcycle Show a few weeks ago.The rep from BMW told me those 2 facts. And heated grips are standard too.
+Firstchoice Lastchoice PPS, be sure to shoot off a reminder to Bavarian Motor Works, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, the Geneva Motor show, Rolls Royce Motor Cars, etc.
How does this bike cruise on the highway. Does it seem stressed at 70mph? I
would be taking some all day rides which may include speeds up to 75mph at
times? I am serious thinking of buying this bike or the Kaw Versa.
+MD Simon (mdsimon80) It seems comfy cruising at 80mph. I have put a CalSci windscreen on it and sometimes I have to catch myself doing 90. I think it is an autobahn thing.
+SombraPiloto I wrecked mine when the back tire of a big rig hit it, nothing broke off the motorcycle it just got a cracked rim some bent levers on the left side like the gear shifter and the kickstand but it really did not do bad at holding up because other than that it just has a lot of scratches on the plastics. It would be safe to operate with just a new rim and the gear shifter bent outwards. I guess I would not have $800 in damage to the left and right fender if I had crash bars.
+Steve Mroz I've dumped mine a good 6 times because I'm short and it's tall but have never had what I'd consider a "wreck". The crashbars I had put on when I bought it have paid for themselves many times over.
Excellent review. I toured southwest Ireland on on one last month and
really enjoyed it. I found it very maneuverable in the villages, great on
the narrow roads (paths) and with enough power (but it did leave me wanting
a bit when trying to catch my buddy on the straights) . Headed your way
over Thanksgiving hopefully for a desert ride (never done it) and looking
forward. If any advice for me pl let me know. Taking out form Phoenix for 5
days on 11.25.--karl
+karl kunkle (kunk24) Which way are you headed from Phoenix? Remember, in the US, lane splitting is currently only allowed in the state of California, last time I checked.
I've been obsessed with the F800GS for a while... Until I actually saw one.
I'm 5'7 with a 30" inseam and that bike is TALL, this F700GS seems like a
better choice since I won't be doing much offroading aside from dirt
country roads. Saves a few bucks too. This was a very good, objective
review and I think I'm sold on the F700GS.
+CW RH Yes, I am 5.8 with 32" inseam and the 800gs is tall for me. I wish I bought the 700gs.
