For sale in our Detroit location is this gorgeous 1957 Ford Fairlane 500. This 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 has a full restoration and is a true piece of art . In 1957 the ...
Not REALLY a cold start but Christine's been sitting for a while because the weather was quite bad, lots of rain...and she doesn't like to get wet! After fixing some ...
I recently got a much better front bumper which already had holes for
bumper wings. Since the chrome on my front wings came out nicely after some
polishing I decided to put them on. The rear ones are too rusty so I will
probably leave it like that for now.
Vielleicht, weil von den bisher schon über 200 Aufrufen nur 30 aus
deutschsprachigen Ländern kamen und der Rest der Welt mit einer deutschen
Beschreibung eher wenig anfangen kann?
Very nice! I see you alrady have the bumper wings on the front bumper? Or
am I seeing wrong? Anyway.... she runs very good... I hope to see even more
vids of it later :)
Sheriff Cars Lake County Plymouth 1957 Ford Model A 1928
The same deputy in Lake County Florida drove the 57 when new, and now owns it, fully restored! This is a Savoy, stripped as one would be for police work, and ...
@XboobtubeX Hey, Bob! Yes, that is amazing...very fundamental lighting..but
the high speed interstate highways were just getting started at this point,
and I'm assuming that most speeding tickets were more in line with Barney
Fife's domain. Minimalist was enough to get the job done. Thanks! :) Jack
@pippo702 Hey, Andrea! It is very seldom that we see cars of this era in
their police dress! A constable is an old term for a sheriff deputy...here
in Florida they have county wide law enforcement responsibilities. Cities
may have their own police force. Thanks! :) Jack
@1968DodgePolara This car has to be a rare one...you make very good points
as to why most original police cars didn't survive...rust was a problem for
all Mopars at the time, and the rough nature of police work would almost
make them disposable! Thanks! :) Jack
@monarch1957 Hey, Barry! That was very true in the "rust belt" of northeast
U.S....Chrysler products of this vintage were particularly prone to
rusting..rocker panels, wheel wells and the area of the fender right behind
the headlights. Thanks! :) Jack
You don't see many 57 Plymouths around now. Back in the day I used to see
lots of these, but usually they were in my rear view mirror with that red
cherry blinking. The 57s had quite bad rusting problems so it is nice to
see one in such good shape.
2 nice cars jack...hard to imagine that 1 little red bubble is all that was
needed on police cars back in the day. seems people's eyesight has gotten
worse over the years with all the lights the police cars have on them today.
Man look at that a very Rare original 57 Fury Police Car not a Clone like
most of them. Most of these Originals were crashed worn out abused over
driven ended up in bone yards. Nice see a survivor still around.
@cheddyrod Hey, Chester! Indeed..these were common, and commonly used by
police departments. Too bad the rust demons were so hard on them...it has
narrowed the population of these collectibles! Thanks! :) Jack
I bet he has had many passangers in the back over the years;) And it's good
too see he has taken care of his nice old police car, you just don't see
them anymore.............. Apart from museeums.........
@torjusb Hey, Torjus! I bet he did have lots of passengers..and I'm sure
they did not enjoy the ride! Too bad, with its torsion bar suspension! I
agree you don't see many of these around! Thanks! :) Jack
I love police cars..ma favourites are the ones from the 70s but this
Plymouth is great too! Just a question Jack: what kind of police is
"constable"? Thanks..
