It was in Eastern Idaho ; Boise is western. It is probably due to cholera disease which happens from time to time. Not that big of a deal.

Solar flare or something like that. I'm just starting to learn about space weather and the current condition of the magnetosphere. This definitely isn't the first flock of birds to fall dead from the sky in recent years.

The geese wouldn't decoy so the only chance we had was sky busting. Like I said the 3 guys to my left were all new and just wanted to shoot something if you know what I mean. Normally we don't sky bust

Couple of years ago, my son and I were feeding some ducks at nearby park. There was this one particular swan sure was pissy. My son wasn't feeding it enough so he decided he wanted to try to take the bread out of his head and hissing at him. thankfully it didn't bite him and I felt had I not shoved it away with my foot, it very well may have.

Mute swans aren't resident to Iowa they only migrate to Iowa in the winter I live in Delaware and they re resident here and the ducks and geese are too plus I own 5 mute swans

Swans are vicious and kill Canada geese? In my park there are swans, ducks, geese and other birds. They share the lake and I never see them trying to kill each other.

Swans are very rare on the west coast. Here in California, I only saw swans twice, at a stock pond on someone's ranch and in the lake at a park.

Mute swans are year round all the time by my house but in Iowa their only winter visiters ducks and swans are resident here too

the only mean speices of swan in the US is the introduced Mute Swan not the Tundra or Trumpeter Swans.
