I've seen stuff like this all over this planet....but for some reason, grinding poverty has on or more additional and insidious dimensions added to it....reminds me of what Dostoevsky said in CRIME AND PUNISHMENT-----it is not a crime to be poor. But in America it is de facto treated like a felony by a heartless, soulless and brainless "ME-generation" yuppie society in a country that has been reduced by design and intent to a land of share holders....and share croppers. @davehowellman you can only help those who wish to help themselves,,,,,in this case it is sad but I dont believe this guy wishes any true help. If he did it is there, no he wont be living in a condo drinking champagne but he would have a roof and food unless hes been dishonorably disharged or done something to hurt his benefits,he has a vet card,,im more then sure hes been to the VA at least,under the picture of the cards there would be a line stating service connected if he was.

@Bkatification I am doing the best that I can with my limited resources. The videos that I have shot this far have been mearly by running across individuals and not seeking them out. If I go out to seek them out I would find many more. I will be posting more soon. The more subscribers that I get along with views and comments the more of a push it gives me to create. My situation is not good either but I do the best that I am able to at this time. Thank You! for the encouragement.

@officialusa I agree that many alcohics could be using alcohol to cover up or disguise what their true problems are. I have dealt with depression my whole life. Sometimes tougher than others. I have done a pretty good job hiding it for the most part, however sometimes it gets the best of me. I have been wanting to ducument my day to day on my main YouTube channel however just have not been able to start. I need to just do it!

Do you have a college degree? Was your MOS something marketable which can transfer well to civilian life, such as logistics, intelligence, linguist, etc.? You have to have a plan in which military skills can add to your resume. It's not magic. ex: 1. Get a college degree in business 2. do 4 years in military logistics 3. You can get a job with any damn import/export company Military will not "make" you. You make yourself*

@trueamericanstory dude I love your effort to try and give and put the meaning out there in small documentaries,,,,,might wish to double think about the homeless Harry bit as well,,,,,bubba only mocks the seriousness of the sistuation in this country that you are trying to get out there. WIth 2 purple hearts Harry should be drawing a check or at least the 900 a month pension which would get him off the street.

Why are we insistant on spending millions of dollars to ruin the lives and futures of Afghani and Iraqi children, while we watch the people who've served this country rot on the streets or commit suicide. Why is this country backwards? You can't even blame this on any single president. This is plain deceit and evil that has infiltrated the soul of this country. One last rant is the guy is a vet as he has the card,,,,vets with claims of bogus stuff kill it for the rest of the vets here,,,,my claims now going on 6 years and it should have been a simple process yet there are 800k pending veterans claims in this country,,,,3/4 of which are bullshit,,,,guys claiming ptsd over nonsense and ect are doing nothing more then backing the system up for those who are legit.

@MattsPolitics1 One cannot say what this man's life circumstances are and why he became homeless or an alcoholic. There are many people living on the streets today who simply feel left out in life or lost in their soul. Try talking to some of them to find out who they are and wher they are from and maybe you will learn something. You also could become that homeless man.

@trueamericanstory - I would like to hear your story. A lot of people will benefit from listening... many feel alone. I had to get off the antidepressants because they were just as bad as someone who drinks or do drugs. I never got addicted they just made me feel like crap. Now I have been taking supplements and trying to do things the right way.

The establishment will shit on all of us sooner or later. All they care about is how there going to put more money in there pockets and how many of us they can get to fight and die for them to be able to do it. with the obvious substance abuse he should be listed with ptsd as well and be making right around 2900 a month which is more then enough to get him off the street if he wishes to be off the street. We have many homeless veterans who do not wish to be there,,there not drunks or drug addicts

,,,just people who have sat around year after year trying to get there paperwork to actually go through the system,,,,pls find some of those and continue your work,,,I for one will be more then happy to spread your vids all over the net at that point.

How much money do you think the guy that sets up the voting machines gets to make a vote for Dr. Paul register as the Grinch or Banker Romney vote. I know such a person and I'm going to see if he has been approached. Money rules America.
