I have never used Sourceforge since I downloaded something that included malware which took control of the search engines. Check out reviews of Sourceforge and avoid if possible, I would say.

If you're vst folder won't load, find your lmms folder and find the plugins folder from that

+Sauri Vega no, it will crash. LMMS is no free alternative for Fl-studio. It crashes all the time and most VST Plugins don´t realy work. Keep your Fl-studios its much better then this Crap !

The directory for the vst plugins is wrong on mine, it says that it cannot be found :\

Just make the directory. The reason it can't be found is probably because it doesn't exist yet.

When I try using a choir VST, I keep getting the message "The VST-plugin C:/Users/Owner/Music/project/Plug-Ins/DSK ChoirZ/DSKChoirZ.dll could not be loaded for some reason. I did everything in the video and other VSTs are working, but not that one for whatever reason. Any ideas?

@ScreamLikeAnIdiot Yes, Atomsplitteraudio samples are royalty free and can be used in your music production, however they may not be re-packaged or sold. The same goes for my samples. I suggest you read the license included in each sample pack.

iv got fl studio demo open the cdrive than look into image line and got all the sound made a file and putt it into lmms and it work lol even the guitar shred one sound lol

@MrGreekba I prefer Windows screen recording software. If I was making a song in LMMS, not a video tutorial, I'd probably use Linux.

Hi i wonder if you can help me...i recently downloaded some Vocals samples, then cleaned it up and converted it to mp3 files. But when i follow your video and try and add these vocal samples to LMMS i cant seem to find these files to add. When i do find the file names it wont open or export to LMMS. Looking at your video, when you open your folder in LMMS you have a list of files all seem to have the LMMS logo, but mine dont have the logo. Is there something i have done wrong? Can you help. Cheers.

+Ben Lopez Well ZynAddSubFX has a built in formant filter, but since you can't automate ZASFX my preferred methed is to use the VST Form8.

Just use lots of formant and bandpass filters and go nuts with resonance and sweeps of the filter shape.
