Sony's iconic Walkman brand is back. The new Walkman ZX2 is designed exclusively with high-end audiophiles in mind — with a price tag to match. As Sony ...
My god this comment section is filled with morons. "WHAT THE FUCK DUDE MY
IPOD OR PHONE CAN DO THE SAME THING" Read the description. "The new Walkman
ZX2 is designed exclusively with high-end audiophiles in mind" An
audiophile is someone who really values how their audio sounds. Which means
that they will go to the ends of the earth to find a good sounding music
player. All of your stupid phones and iPods are playing back MP3s most
likely, which sound like shit. Highly compressed pieces of crap. Plus they
all use highly integrated components. Which means no separate D-ACs. No
separate D-ACs = shitty audio quality. People aren't saying: "welp, time to
go buy an iPod because everyone else has one." No. They're making a huge
decision. You could only dream of your precious little phone or iPod
sounding like this thing. Get this. There are CD players that cost more
than this thing. We're talking a couple thousand dollars. And do you know
how many GBs of space they have? None. Educate yourselves on audio and stop
thinking that your crappy phone or iPod is an awesome piece of gear.
Because in terms of audio quality, this thing shits on both of them.
+1980sGamer how much better could it really be, i mean seriously at this point the human ear can't even distinguish anything different//www.npr.org/sections/therecord/2015/06/02/411473508/how-well-can-you-hear-audio-quality
+BaryonyxI'm well aware of that. I'm also well aware of the many studies that show no can tell the bloody difference between a 320kb mp3 and a flac file.
Is FLAC really that noticeable over ~320kbps... even with expensive earbuds?
I also heard that most artists focus on refining for the lossy version
because few people ever hear the originals. What gives?
+Joe Schmoe : Unfortunately no, it's not noticeable ... in fact, officially there hasn't been anybody who could differentiate 320 kbps MP3 from a FLAC file in a blind ABX test, yet.

+Amir Dcruz Allow me to explain this way.... If you are planning to only shoot pictures ( not videos ) in daylight only then I would say just go for it... Because low light performance of this camera is just awful... Video quality is not that good also... Overall if you want to shoot only still pictures in daylight condition then go for it. Hope it help you :D
