I just installed new brake pads in my Octavia and started to get that same
problem. What I found it to be is the clips on the inside pad (to the
piston) doesn't hold properly so the pad rocks back and forth onto the
disc. If you just changed your pads you may want to consider trying another
brand if possible. Cheaper brands aren't the best I'd gather!
Like others have said, check the brake components & that the rotors are
true. Since it's not constant, but oscillating my guess is a rotor issue or
a bad hub/bearing. My truck sounded the same way & after clearing the
brakes as a cause, found it to be a very bad hub bearing.
my is 300 is making that noise too. i tried bending the dust shield so it
wont touch the rotors but still did not solve the problem. my rotors are
rusted so im going replace all of them.
is it brakes or hub bearing as i had it check and the guy said it not
bearings but the pads, but i put new pads in 7months ago and it started to
make the same noise again help PLEASE
