Sebastian Giovinco - Fantastic Dribbling, Assists, Goals - Toronto F.C.
Sebastian Giovinco is the "Lionel Messi" to the MLS. He's absolutely brilliant and has continued to be one of the best, if not the best players in the league, after ...
+Alessio David in Italy was a very good player but he had no chance to play in Juventus. Despite this fact, he solved several matches anyway with his skills. He has to be in a team where he can play. Really undervalued

MLS is already the 6th most watched league in the world, and there are more
american fans going to the FIFA world cup this year than any other foreign
country. Football in america is growing in popularity, and with that comes
the growth of their league and national team. 20 years and america will be
up their with the top leagues and top nations.
MLS will always be shit. They will never develop talent until they create a league structure, allowing good teams to be promoted and bad teams to be relegated. If the league carries on going the way it is it will be full of shit teams and the only way to win will be through the size of your wallet.
Totally agree! I think it's because all the 'good' players that have recently came over (Defoe, Keane, Bradley, Dempsey etc) have brought more excitement and stuff into the league, also makes it very interesting with your unique Play off system. :)
i would expect he will bring some good players from england that he knows personally and italy spain aswell. looking up for you guys in the states, im english n i always keep an eye on mls its gettin better every year but torontos overhaul and becks new team is jus gna send it through the roof n get europe take notice for once
+CurryBomb1337 I think the biggest challenge for MLS right now (outside of increasing the TV ratings, which have been awful) is keeping young American talent state-side. Just within this past week 2 young (17 years) signed on to play for Euro teams. One to Reading and another to Atletico Madrid. As you already mentioned, it's a developing/young league. I think some people forget this league is only 18 years old. Since I've been following the sport since 2006, the league has grown steadily in that time. Hoping it continues the upward trajectory for the next 8 years as well.
+no1cp As it should be, I don't really think a developing league can / should really become big by bringing in players from the bigger leagues in Europe. I'd say it's better to bring up players close to home, where they may not exactly have the same chances as perhaps European ones. Probably hence why they shone the limelight over Bradley in this video, rather than Defoe, who is probably the best player in the league ATM. Although in a couple of years when the MLS is as big as some of the other leagues, I'm sure you'll see a huge influx of players from further afield, much like in the Prem (although it would be cool to see an MLS equivalent to Southampton, with all the underrated American prospects).
+CurryBomb1337 If you're looking strictly at Prem players who have come over, then yes, although Juan Pablo Angel was an absolute beast in MLS for a few years.I don't think it is MLS' goal to bring in these types of players, but it adds some profile to the league. The majority of players brought in recently seem to be younger guys from Central & South America (if we're discussing foreign transactions).
+no1cp +Reiss Stobo I don't understand either and I'm English. I don't suppose that was a half assed attempt at writing "and what?"? I don't know. In response to the whole Everton thing, age and career are completely separate. I may be wrong, but the only "good" player in the MLS whose career wasn't over when they moved is probably Defoe, although I'm just judging based on Martins and Henry, Beckham etc. Those guy's quality have significantly dropped since their peaks, although I have no idea why Tottenham sold Defoe. IMO, Englands best striker (apart from Sturridge, and not taking into account Rooney or Walcott who play in different positions).
* Rolls eyes *I wish people knew what in the hell they were talking about. OK, as an example, my team, the Columbus Crew. Their oldest player on the roster is 31. Now, Everton FC, who is having a brilliant Premier League campaign this season I may add, has 8 players over the age of 31 on their roster. 8.
