@nWoWolfpacTV Roode is being pushed now. But, I don't believe he will be in the main event 6 months from now. Why? Because TNA never keeps the young guys in the main event. Look at their track record. Look at Joe! In 05 he was insanely over. Then he just kept losing and being depushed. Just like AJ. Just like Kaz. Like everyone else that is the future. People watch for the vets now. Years ago they all cared about the young guys. How does that make sense? Explain to me how that works for business

@nWoWolfpacTV I know enough to know TNA does less than 10,000 ppv buys. That is with Sting, RVD, Hogan, Jarrett, Jeff Hardy, ect ect. Also, I know that the ratings have stayed around the 1.0 ever since TNA came on spike. Hogan didn't move them for more than a few weeks. I have blaimed the booking, hence the weak champion AJ and Joe statements. Is sting Valuable to the roster? Somewhat yes. But short term planning like using the vets so much won't help TNA grow. It's all about popping a buyrate

If you don't like the way Sting is used don't blame Sting blame the booking. Sting vs. Hogan regardless of what you think will be the match that sells tickets & (most) of the PPV buys. FACT is you don't have a clue about TNA's finances (profit/expenditure) yet i know TNA are pusing Hogan/Sting hard which means they have some idea what makes them money.

Me talking about quarter hour ratings is not meaningless because it tells people who draws the ratings. 3 years worth of ratings - i know who draws. The people who draw boost the overall rating. TNA needs to keep Spike happy with good ratings as without a TV deal they would go out of business just like WCW & ECW when they lost their TV deals.

@ShadowRowin You do know that TNA does less then 10k buys because TNA is a private company that does not release that information. You get that info from Meltzer & he can not guarantee the figures are correct. When TNA debted on Spike their average rating in 2005 was a 0.79, in 2008 it was a 0.89.....they never got a 1.3 for a show until 2009. The average rating in 2011 is a 1.18. Have you seen what TNA has built in under a decade? they anit stupid, Hogan wasn't brought in just for ratings.

FACT - Since March 3rd 2011 when Sting made his return he has been the highest rated quarter hour segment 20 out of 30 weeks. Also based on the available Dave Melzter's TNA PPV estimates Sting is easily their top PPV draw alongside Kurt Angle. Also i forgot to add Spike TV only picked up IMPACT in 2005 on insistance they sign Sting.

MEM won about 27 times, while the Frontline won... 11 times. Kip was clearly put into the match to take the pin. Keep in mind the near constant beat downs on Impact. Frontline was made to look weak and pathetic, and needed Vets like Foley (LAUGH) and Jarrett to turn the tide. All in all, noone young was elevated due to the MEM storyline.

BTW UFC doesn't do 800K to 1 million buys for every PPV.....UFC 125 = 270,000, UFC 126 = 725,000, UFC 127 = 260,000, UFC 128 = 445,000

The Knockouts Division was the best part of the show, by far, for a while. Kong and Kim used to have incredible matches frequently. The Beautiful People were the best when it was just Velvet and Angelina (they're not DX, they didn't get better with new members). They were a heel faction of women that actually made Impact must see TV some weeks. I bought that TNA Knockouts DVD with the quickness when it was released, it was awesome. Monster's right, there's barely anyone left in the division now.

They only moved out on the road because Orlando TERMINATED the lease for the Impact Zone which FORCED them to get out there. Even Don Tony and Kevin Castle have said this numerous times. Il give TNA another year before its sold. You cant run a business when its bleeding money left and right. TNA is worse right now that WCW was in 2001. At least WCW had the ratings back then even in their dying days. They still managed to keep their core fans which was around a 2.5 rating. TNA SUCKS MAJOR BALLS!

I truly believe most of TNA old fans are now part time MMA fans or NXT fans. TNA needs to fire hogan, bischoff, and dixie. I'd go back into a small venue because honestly half of those fans are not even into the show. Partner up with ROH or NJPW; they need to create a different feel, so why not partner up with them. Have Jeff Jarrett run the company and go back to this basics. If TNA do these thing they'll have a chance to be special. it will take time but it would be a great start. 6 side ring

They're irrelevant because they're not happening. I think TNA would be sold before Mr. Carter replaces his daughter, and if TNA is sold I doubt the new owner would keep Dixie as President. TNA going out of business is less likely. So it's possible that she can be relieved of her duties but since it probably won't happen then how is that any more relevant than those irrelevant scenarios(?) Mr. Carter is not invested like Mr. McMahon in WWE. If Stephanie sucked I believe Vince would replace her.

I don't think anything can save TNA at this point. Getting rid of Bischoff and Hogan would be smart, but it would only be a minimal improvement. Their so-called "younger" stars aren't so young anymore and all the young people don't want to work for TNA. They want to shoot for the WWE and for very good reason. TNA hasn't made any truly new stars in ages. It's the same old "young" guys who fans have seen for 10 years on their screens saying and doing the same thing. They are basically fucked.

Her family own most of and pump a lot of money into TNA over the years, the Manhattan Center Seats between 2000-3000 but you cant hide empty seats behind a hard camera, and hiring ex WWE guys brings that bit of respectability to the TNA name that ex wwe champions move to there, TNA's problem there is they dont use them right they just hope they get by on their name alone so instead of having The Black Popes/Mr Andersons etc you can have more Jeff Hardys or Kurt Angle.

TNA needs to be what WWE isn't. WWE can't put on exciting matches because 90% of all exciting moves are banned. Focus on that. WWE won't put on an exciting woman's match. Focus on that. EVERY big name that was in WWE got a title run.... Angle, Hardy, RVD, Anderson... TNA being sold or going out of business are the only likely ways that she would be fired (Unless you have another scenario to suggest). Today, her firing is unlikely. Anyone can be fired given the proper circumstances. If TNA goes out of business or if the company is sold then Dixie Carter's chances of getting fired increase tremendously. If either one of these possibilities were to occur than Panda Group would be indirectly firing her. Good job Johnny.

Yeah that's true and fair enough. I stopped watching TV five years ago (moved house and never got an arial cause I'd hardly use it) and so because I don't have Challenge TV or any satelite/freeview package at all, I don't feel as though I've done my bit if I download them. I mean in the past I hadn't cared at all but now that they're doing what most have wished for and giving us many great shows I feel that they should getting some business out of me. Plus DVD sales send a message - this works!

yea the pay-per-views are expensive and I watch impact every single thursday but they still haven't made me forget the entire jeff hardy situation and that is when they shouldv'e changed the plan and said jeff couldn't compete and brought out someone else to fight sting....that is what WWE would do they would find a replacement. TNA hasnt earned the right for my money yet and probably won't for a while because they do have good wrestling but their storylines are crap

You need Roode as WHC for your main event at BFG - Roode v. Storme. I liked your reasoning on a Joe going over on Angle in their match. Joe needs the nudge - Angle certainly does not. WWE has to find it's game (they do remember they are in the wrestling business - not moive or merchandising), or TNA could move ahead of them before they know what hit them. Are you aware that businesses need money to be successful? If every single TNA fan bought the PPV, they'd have their biggest buyrate ever and they'd damn well stick with their current direction. What good's wanting the company to succeed if you're not willing to give them any money - wrestling ain't charity. I'm in the UK so it's not sold on PPV but I'll buy the DVD (and watch it online).

I don't see how WWE putting attention on AJ is a negative towards CM Punk and DBD. Could it be that they were happy with the angle (which is why they're still doing it), only AJ has garnered so much positive attention they simply had to make her more a part of the story? Since slammiversary, the slate had been wiped clean for TNA for me. And before that I didn't buy a ppv since victory road 2011. TNA has met me halfway with a new direction and live and the talent busting their asses. Sometimes as a wrestling fan, you gotta take a leap of faith in a product and that's what keeps the business going

Like I said if you can buy it. Otherwise try their TNA on demand service. Launch the player and do the free version of registration and you can order separate ppv's live. If that's not available in your country you are in the clear for other options imho.
