poor crown vic tow away after fire

That sucks and yet it is still funny. That is exactly why you don't buy
used cop cars and why you drive VW's It is also what happens when you let
scary Ryan Carey drive ;)
I was 2 years old when this happened my dad was a blacksmith in Mildred my
mom was from Leoville so all my life I have heard the story of this tragic
happening. I went to the grave site of the family, very touching. The house
where it took place is now gone.
My dad played upright bass on this 45 with Irvin Freese, Irvin's daughter
(a great singer now, herself) was the crying girl.
My dad still has one of the original 45's ....very few exist.
A tragic story, a good song, and part of Canadian heritage.
I remember growing up knowing the story and the song, and remember dad and
Irvin playing together many times at our house when I was very little.
My condolences to the Peterson family on their heart-rending loss in 1967.
+CB Thank you for updating some history,Irvin was one of my favorites in the 60's, would you happen to have his full albums? I cannot seem to find any. tks Ben
I remember when the Shell Lake massacre happened, I knew the people really
well, I'm surprised that not to many know of that terrible day that Erin
Hoffman shot all 9 members of the Peterson family.
+C Armstrong Thanks for commenting and info, small world sometimes, I was a big fan of Irvine Freese We went to Sask for a funeral, talked to my nephew ge told me a sales man had come to their job site as it turned out he was Erin Hoffman's brother, take care Ben
the white film can be a build up of the crap that comes off the road and fall out from the atmosphere, we have a spry at my shop that takes it off every time and if there is every any left on, then I would clay bar the vehicle
well first time i went it was because there was a white film left on the truck after winter. 3 washes later it wouldn't come off. so then i was in regina and tried suds.
I think that's how shops like suds and shops that have 4 or 5 guys cleaning a vehicle at the same time work. get you in with bang up job the first time and then it goes down hill from there
I was impressed the first time. second time not so much..

There's a Prairie Wind
I wrote this song after coming into Saskatchewan. Along the Trans-Canada highway, I got out of my car and I could feel eternity. The sky was amazing. You can ...
