Billy Tubbs was great coach, a pioneer, and one crazy dude. I'm a Kansas fan and have to admit I miss the guy. He was a sort of "villain" in the old Big Eight where old, stodgy slow down basketball was played before Billy and OU's teams started scoring big and winning big. Tubbs was also one of the funniest coaches ever. I remember after a milestone win for Tubbs, he credited the Oklahoma players for all the wins. And, he blamed them for all his losses! Classic!
