+stereo steve Thanks! This was my first crack at fliming at night and it's pretty tough to get quality footage on trail. I'd been saving that song for a while, it's awesome!

+hornhospital yeah, compared to some others that wasn't so scary. I just wondered if the driver had no idea of the oncoming train if the lights weren't going. GREAT uploads, btw. You really unlocked a treasure vault! The old seaboard/chessie/csx's and rs5t's bring back childhood memories. :-)

Yes, they were on, and that wasn't even close. I normally don't set up "downstream" at grade crossings for that very reason, but that time I had no time to get to the other side of the intersection. I was actually standing well back and to the right of the camera until after the head end was through the grade crossing.
