Are you talking about the tone? Well in that case yes, she does indeed sounds like our newscasters here in the U.S. Although, I think it's something that these people have to learn in order to deliver news on TV. This system of tone probably came from the U.S., and if not, maybe the BBC

+Gustav Cheng Some more modern english words are part of the Irish language (Gaeilge). But his word in general be much more different to American English.
