BOAC Flight 781 DeHavilland Comet 'Mid Air Explosion'
There is speculation that it was shot down? Was it? On Sunday 10 January 1954, British Overseas Airways Corporation Flight 781, a de Havilland DH.106 ...
So if the holes used to install the windows had been drilled, or included
when the metal was cast, this problem would never have developed? De
Havilland's desire to say a few pounds by punching the holes cost dozens of
lives. Let this be a lesson for all manufacturers--DO IT RIGHT, OR DON'T
DO IT AT ALL!
+Greg B The breakups of the Comet were caused by pressurization/depressurization stresses that built up in the sharp corners of the window cutouts on the fuselage skin. In all of the inflight breakups, the first break and subsequent tearing always originated on one of the corners of a window opening. The big mistake they made was to cut the window openings with sharp square corners. The redesigned Comet had round window openings. Look closely at the windows on any airliner built after the lessons learned from the Comet - though from a distance the windows look square or rectangular in shape - the corners are all rounded and you won't find any sharp corners anywhere on the skin.
The westerners have been subjected to a different rather an opposite
thought process to that of the eastern people. Given a chance, we would
rather shut this non-sense flight travel totally and use bullock carts to
travel and transport no matter we reach late but we reach. Life is above
travel, and much above faster traveling. This thought can NEVER be digested
by the west, for the same reason I mentioned before, their opposite thought
process takes them to death and more death, just because they cannot digest
the way we think. This is their biggest wreckage in mindset.

+BombasticbusterWell as of now in the present day, you will be forced to accept islam against your will. The hell is on your way. Lets see how far you can show your guts :-D All the best
no thanks , I don't want to live like that. I won't worship monkeysmor your 3 million 300, 000 gods. I like living in the 21stc not the 5th bc. I don't want shit inmmy food and if I want to squash a damned bug, I will. we often wonder why the west has to deal with reality. you just answered the question with your statement. thanks. merica!
LOLYou'll be telling me next that the Scotsman SWAN wasn't installing electric lighting and lightbulbs in homes in the UK 15yrs before some illiterate thief called Edison had ever heard of a lightbulb...
I'm sure a lot of our guys in Afghanistan could have used mules. It's an
awful thing that we made them carry 100+ pound loads every day up mountains
15,000+ feet high. Sympathy to those soldiers who have joint pain because
of it.
I work with horses just watching this brings a bit of a tear horses are all
but forgotten the art of being a horse man or woman is that too is all but
forgotten
Good repair job, but it needs motion compensation...
UK floods: why has the weather been so bad?
This has been the wettest January for much of southern England since records began And there's not much sign of it getting any better in February, or in future ...
Don't you think THEY want people to perish? I mean, come on, what kind of
people have managed, with 'their' money, to buy-up/buy-out everything! Why
is it that people like you and me are deliberately side-lined,
disenfranchised and what not?!? But here we are YELLING our mouths off for
them to see! Why? Who is going to come to our rescue? Which of those who
have the means to care will do so? I discovered a very deep and relatively
simple mass-socio-psychological method that if applied would
Part 2: The earthquake was at 72.7 degrees west (USGS): 72.7 - 180 gives
107.3 degrees east, almost exactly in the vicinity of Indonesia. The
earthquake was at 18.5 degrees north (USGS): 18.5 degrees south is actually
closer to Australia, south of Indonesia. I don't know how close to
Indonesia we need to be to consider Haiti as "close to the polar opposite".
This is not my area of expertise, so if I am on shaky ground, I am prepared
to be told so.
In this video you talk about Indonesia as the most likely place for an
earthquake. You also say that the seismic events will be seen in the
northern hemispheare. Most of territory of Indonesia is on the Southern
Hemispheare, isn't it a contradiction? or am I understanding wrong what you
are saying? Which are the probabilities for an earthquake in north
Venezuela? I apologize for my english, my original languaje is Spanish.
Part 1: From a certain point of view, is the Haiti earthquake a "hit" for
John, even if it's (pretty close to being) the polar opposite of Indonesia?
When a force impacts the earth in Indonesia, does the earth vibrate like a
bell with the waves converging at the polar opposite strong enough to
trigger an earthquake? The Haiti earthquake is almost the polar opposite of
Indonesia (check out the coordinates on google earth).
@astrotometry Only a part of Indonesia is in the Northern Hemispheare. And
it is like the 20% or less of the territory. The only part of Indonesia
that belong to the northern Hemispheare is half of the Island of Sumatra,
and an small portion of the indonesian territory of the Island of Borneo,
the rest of the country, including the main Island Java where the capital
city is located is in the southern hemispheare.
@w0r1dpeace If I knew where it was going to be, I would have warned people.
The list list is based on stats only. Haiti has not had a quake like that
in over 200 years. If I had a better hypertime map or higher resolution
images it would have been possible to identify the region. Additionally,
the SOHO archive was crippled until the Jan 13th. mother fucker
@astrotometry About South America, I know most of the continent is south of
the equator line, but I asked you about Venezuela. This country is
completely in the northern Hemispheare, in fact, the capital city
(Caracas), where earthquakes are likely to happen is 10°30'N
great job. It will be interesting to see if there is another large one on
the horizon. Just had to subscribe to your posts, especially since we may
be moving to the west coast. Keep up the good work. Your science is
captivating.
Man... your predictions are so freightening correct! This is not the first
time that you've predicted earthquake. You have just mistaken hemisphere
location of earthquake. But OK, we can ignore that... Nice job, really! Go
on.
@gerstners It's killing me to be so close to figuring this out, and then to
see something like this. It's making me physically ill. Thank you for your
thoughtful encouragement.
@Abacand Indonesia is much more prone, that's why it's at the top of the
list. Venezuela is possible from the pattern, but like Haiti is/was much
less likely.
