I actually just bought the moonbeam last night at sephora and could NOT
figure out which one I wanted. I ended up going with moon beam because it
looked warmer. I looked it up on youtube because i had absolutely no idea
how and where to use it because i'm not used to a liquid highlighter. Do
you have any recommendations on any good powder highlighters? I have a
light/medium complexion. Thanks!
I have High Beam and I agree that it can be a little extreme at times (I'm
a pasty marshmallow) :D. I usually save it for special occasions or for
winter months when my skin looks dull. I do plan to buy Moon Beam though in
order to mix it with my moisturizer in hopes of getting a more subtle glow
:). (Both products rock and I love your eye makeup)
Please NEVER apply highlighters or illuminators on your "T Zone" the nose,
forehead, chin, it is best to ONLY apply on your cheeks. You definitley
look oily in this video because you put TOO MUCH on the wrong areas. They
are great products, but no matter what less is more.
I'm decoding rather if I should buy the moon beam or the high beam ...
which one would u recommend to a student??? I don't wear foundation and I
only wear eye makeup sometimes and I don't go out much in the night so
should I buy the moon beam???
I just love you... before I go anf buy something I check and see if you've
reviewed it, I really value your opinions and your thourough reviews! I mix
my moonbeam with my foundation sometimes if I want my skin dewy and glowy :)
I really enjoyed watching your video and you explain things very well. I
value your opinion, you seem very honest and thanks for this i just bought
the high beam and was a little unsure on how to use it.. Thanks a lot!
this was so useful :D! thanks for the video I was looking for a natural
highlight..nothing to obvious and I heard highbeam was good but im
definitely purchasing moon beam now
Wowwwww tutorial! I've just subscribed! NEEEDD Advice..Hey, I got really
really fair skin but brown hair and brown eyes...what would you say is
better: Moon or High Beam?
hi, may i know what product you use to acheive that skin tone of yours? do
you use a bronzer? i think ur skin tone is great! and you are very pretty
too ^^ thank you! :D
@skinfuz I can't remember what products I used here.. I believe this was my
Stila tutorial, which you can look for in my video list but I don't use
bronzer regularly!
@mewminto211 If you had to choose one, I think High Beam is more versatile
for those who have fairer complexions and Moon Beam for those who are more
tan :)
lol ummm noooo. HighBeam is for lighter tones. The silver will look
horrible on darker tones. Moonbeam is warmer with a more natural cold for
darker tones.
Hey hey hey! This video was so fun to watch and this is an awesome idea, I
love watching DIY videos. This one was so well edited and just, simply,
AMAZING. *Want to become youtube friends and support each other's channels?
Lemme know if you'd like to sub for sub!* It would really make my day if
you could give my channel a chance and have a look at it!
Okay, I found you in return, but I had to google you because the link in
the message you sent through YT did not take me to your YouTube channel.
Just letting you know, I'll check it out ;)
Sorry you are under the weather but you look beautiful. Never tried either
one of these but sunbeam looks really nice. May try his weekend. Feel
better
Your eyes are so pretty!! And you seem like a very nice person too! :)

DIY Benefit High Beam Highlighter | Beauty Collab♡
Hey there! Hope you enjoy this video. I just wanted to reassure some of you gals out there worried about your skin, especially if you are quite acne prone like ...
I've said this before, but you tube is FULL of dupe videos for products
that are only available in th USA. Just do a you tube search for 'Dupe' and
Product you're looking for. As Wayne is based in the UK it makes sense for
him to review the Dupes that are available here. He is the ONLY person on
you tube doing reviews of Dupes that are available here in the UK, and we
love him for it! :)
I just came back after picking up Boots No.7 High Lights for $13 and then
saw this video about Highbeam's dupe! I was "really" hoping you'd say
Highlights was the dupe to make me extra happy about my purchase...Well,
whatever! :) Not sure if the pinky glisten will suit my deep NC42 skintone!
I think golden/bronzy shades suit me better. Do you know any highlights for
deeper skintone?
If only i could buy Mememe.. I can't even order online because they don't
ship to the US. Another thing is that half of (if not all) the things
you're mentioning in the duplicate series are products that aren't
available in the US, so I can't buy them. But that kind of gives me an
excuse to go to Sephora to check out the pricey versions. =)
Is it just me or is he just really hot? I'm married but I wouldn't mind if
he did my makeup lol :-) I've been thinking about getting High beam for a
while so you've saved me from doing so. I will have to have a butchers when
I next have money at more accessorize and MEMEME stuff :-) Thanks for much
for sharing these with us x
I bought two of these from an online store in the Philippines This is the
"Beat The Blues" from MEMEME COSMETICS which is an iridescent skin (liquid)
illuminator, much like the high beam and moon beam from benefit. I got both
Oyster Gold and Pearl Pink. They are BOTH great liquid illuminators.
Wayne I have two requests, one being the Wet & Wild Color Icon eyeshadow
Palettes that cost $5.00 or less in drug stores, and the other item is BB
Cream aka Mee Cha found on Ebay and Amozon, I found mine on Ebay for $6.67I
would love to see the review you would give these products. Thank
Wayne, I think an easy way to make your own highlighter -- for any skin
tone -- would be to mix a bit of mica, or pigment, with a small amount of
moisturizer. I've done this. Not sure if it's as good as store bought, but
I can control the amount of shimmer, and the shade. :-)
Great I wish I would have seen this video BEFORE I purchased Moon beam and
Girl Meets Pearl, I guess it doesn't really matter anyway, I'm in the US, I
just realized that he's in the UK, LOL! Youtube makes you forget those
things sometimes seeing how we all feel so connected.
wayne I hope you do realize we can't trust ANY other makeup-person's review
after discovering you, do you!? i mean, I still enjoy them, but I won't buy
any of that stuff just for seeing them use or liking it...You actually
exorcised the haul-spell..at least for me! Thanks
Hi Wayne, hope you're well. I have olive Middle Eastern skin - what sort of
highlighter/blush should I be using? I already own Gilda by NARS, which is
fabulous, but a little harsh when I have a strong lip colour/eyeshadow
colour on. Thanks for the videos!
@xchampbearx Yes some ELF products are great! they're bronzer and brushes
are really good, sadly not a fan of their nail polishes tho, chips after
one day :( some NYC products can be good (loose diamond eye shadow) &
lipsticks for $.99!
The Conversion is - 1g is equal to 1ml - therefore the Benefit is a
whopping £2:64 per ml and the Me me me is 43p per ml. Basically, you are
paying £5:25 for the Me me me and it is nearly double the size for a third
of the price!
Here in Germany loooot of Gurus found the eyeko cream in extra glow which
is only available in the UK to be a dupe for Benefits High Beam it contains
a lot of Product since it's a cream and it's also around 5 Pounds I think
:)
Hopefully this brand comes to Canada soon. Shoppers Drug Mart here carries
some brands that nowhere else carries. I recently discovered that we now
have Essence (German brand). Their eye shadows are like butter!
Pleassse, dou you know dupes of cream for wrinkles???? I need products more
cheap and easy to find ( and send to my countrie ) for skin care.
Especially for wrinkles and signs. Thanks. Xoxo from Brasil
I have benefit high beam, but i never really used it much because I wasn't
sure what to do with it (it was a gift). maybe i will now that i have an
idea as to how to use it :) thanks wayne!
@AnniesBeautyLife For 'economy' options though, I can't really think of any
really cheap brands here that are available in the USA too - except elf
maybe? An elf dupes video would be fab!
@loobsy1 plus some of these products are available through the internet. im
from the caribbean not even the usa and i have found a lot of them in
different web sites including ebay
I notice you don't know conversion rates - google often has conversion
calculators for measurements and the like. :) Not saying you have to, but
those who care can. Love your vids.
DIY Highlighter! {Dupe for Benefit High Beam}
