Sasa, it sounds like you should get in to see a doctor to be evaluated. If you feel like you are experiencing a medical emergency please dial 911.

Any advice/ideas about dealing with asthma during a SHTF event?

+Suzanne Voelker Oh that's an excellent question. I will need to do a video on that. Increasing lung capacity, strengthening the immune system, detoxing the body, eliminating sugar, increasing probiotics, and increasing nutrient dense food will help. It's a scary thing to consider a time without access to puffers :(

I'm feeling pretty good overall. I'm just hoping the diarrhea ends soon. It's part of having a small intestine resection.

Excellent presentation and information! So, if a person is running a fever, and that is the bodies way of fighting off an infection, is it then a mistake to be popping Advil, etc., to try to bring the fever down? As long as it isn't too high, wouldn't it be better to let it run its course until it breaks?

+Logica Redux You are absolutely right my quick witted friend! Lowering the fever artificially may give the bacteria or viruses a toehold, allowing them to mass up, and make it much harder to eradicate, and possibly make us more vulnerable to a secondary infection.

loved the presentation thank YOU. When my oldest son was a baby he would often run an extremely high fever anytime he had a cold, in the range of 103 to 105 F his Dr. said it due to an enlarged hypothalamus gland and would eventually out grow the condition which he did around the age of 3 years. It was a tough time though when he was younger and spent a lot of time in the hospital due to his condition. Thanks for all you do to educate us and help us prepare.
