@TheGreenPander wrong again. 2008 was still generation 6. and there was no c5 zr1 anyways. there was, however, a c4 zr1, which stopped being produced in the '90s. i know a lot about this subject - there's a reason why my username ends in "vette".

thats not a fair race you need to find a ZR1, dont get me wrong i love vipers and have a final edition srt 10, but my ZR1 spanks my viper, yes i am a vette guy but i'm also an american muscle guy and the ZR1 is better

a c6 cant even compete against a stock 96 gts with 450 hp sooo......what makes them think it can handle an srt 10 which comes stock with over 500 hp the newer ones with over 600....

@TJR7297 don't get wrong but it would not be a viper... I mean the 3400 pound is part of it's persona... raw power, bold looks, no light weight division... that's what makes him a bad ass car... a modern example of a classic muscle car... or at least that's what I think...

@taranchula97 The first year Chevrolet made the Z06 was 2009, this is a 2003 (outdated viper), the 2009 viper 640hp instead of 500hp like this one, while this almost defeated the Z06 just imagine a viper with 140 more hp, it would send the vette hell!!
