What if approval seeking is your secret addiction? //jadejoddle.com/secret-shyness/ When we go around seeking the approval of people in our lives, we can ...
great videos. Love your page. I've found this to be one of, if not The core
issue for all of my social problems. (Posting this is my ego seeking
approval for understanding this :P). Awareness at work
Hey cyclecruza. So I listened to your advice and got the bike without my
dad knowing (I'm 18 and live with him). I just got a 2006 ninja 250 and I
am having the time of my life on it. I've had it for just 2 days and
decided to tell my dad about it today. He told me I either sell it or go
live somewhere else. I am definitely not going to sell my bike (no
disrespect to my father) because I've never had so much fun before (and its
my only form of transportation as I can't afford a car/ car insurance).
Right now I have my friends asking their parents about me staying there for
$150/month. I'll let you know how everything goes. Haha I just wanted you
to get some feedback from someone who has used your advice. Keep up the
awesome dual sport videos!
+matt von My parents kicked me out when i bought mine [im 18 but live at home] and about a week later they told me too come back. now my parents actually like my bike and we all get along. they really do get used to it
+matt von I was in your same position about a year ago. Got a 2003 ninja 250, and everyone in my family freaked the fuck out. parents and brothers... but it gets better. I think that is the initial shock reaction some parents will have. Just show them your responsible. Now i ride a 2013 Ninja 650 :)
So. I rode to school and back today and after I got home I got a call from my dad. He asked me how big the bike is and if I have a motorcycle license and insurance. He basically said "I'll let you keep it as long as your safe". Your advice worked
My parents both rode and I always did too.
Here's a story I bet you'd enjoy... My parents met cause my dad was out
riding and some car coming the opposite way, abruptly decided to turn left
in front of him. He t-boned it and said he flew "like super man for two
telephone poll lengths". He walked away from it but had his palms and knees
embedded with gravel. He wasn't sure if he broke bones in his hand in the
crash or beating on the guys car to make him get out. lol
My mom was the receptionist at the hospital. Two years later, I happened.
lol Maybe that's why I don't fear motorcycles.
+Juliana Brown lol Also, they tried to cut off his leather jacket with scissors at the ER and he was like FUCK NO... and forcibly pulled it over his swollen up hands. lol My mom pulled her own teeth. I have some pretty metal fuckin' parents. They may be giant assholes but fear of motorcycles wasn't a factor. lol.
