4x²+37x+58. Using your method, ac=232, b=37. You will find that 29 and 8 multiplied equal ac, and added equal b. However, placing these numbers in gives you 4x²+8x+29x+58, which if grouped, they become 4x(x+2)+29(x+2). x²+4x+4 ≠ 4x²+37x+58. What am I doing wrong?

Yes, what Kraedi was doing wrong was believing that (x+2) and (x+2) would be the factors. As the video says, when you get to the line 4x(x+2)+29(x+2), you write the (x+2) only ONCE in the answer, and the 4x and +29 come together to make the other factor (4x+29).

@g088le factor that using division. find a number for x that makes the equation = 0, then divide by that.
