The spokesperson for X-Factor UK himself said that there are no rules
regarding seasoned singers not being allowed to enter the X-factor. Simon
also topped it up with saying that the British X-factor welcomes all talent
from all over the globe. the sisters were not pretending to be idiots on
stage in fact on the interview they kept repeating that they entered a lot
of talent shows to support their family. they move from shows to shows in
search for that one huge break. no one as exposed as the Golayan sisters
would even think of fooling the world into thinking they are amateurs when
a considerable number of their own videos was already floating in the
internet.
+ahmudzebra-ray This is their best chance of winning - the X Factor voting has loopholes the Pinoys can get passed. Just like they did in X Factor AU with Marlisa Ann. You will see.
What are your talking about?...this is their 2nd reality singing international contest that they have joined so far...yes! In SK they only landed as 8th finalist...breaking the record for its the farthest! a female contestant have reached in Superstar K history. Kudos to them!...Now, in this xfactor UK contest...their odds is lesser, since they are comfortable singing in english....Someone is commenting in this thread n strongly dares everyone...he is claiming n it will just be a matter of time...that this show will open the votation worldwide...if that happens OMG! 4th Power has a lessens its odds. Further...they will have the Powe Vote! Of the viewers.
Okay, so you guys want to know EVERYTHING about them? Here it is.
– They won WCOPA (World Championship of Performing Arts) when they were
like fifteen or sixteen. It’s DECADES ago and another one this 2013.. I
think that’s also the time they had an album that didn’t even make any
charts AT ALL.
– They won Talentadong Pinoy (talent variety show in the Philippines) as
THE CERCADO SISTERS and It’s Showtime’s Bida Kapamilya segment (noontime
show in the Philippines.) The Bida Kapamilya segment caters talented
families to audition and compete with other families. They went with the
name THE GOLLAYAN FAMILY that time.
And also, please note that in the Philippines, shows like these offer
“fifteen minutes of fame.” People will only recognize you for a time, and
after your TV exposure, you’re forgotten unless you’re a celebrity or
you’ve won major singing competition or talent competition. Talentadong
Pinoy and It’s Showtime aren’t like that. They are shows that offer cash
prizes, that’s why they went in for the kill.
– The most recent one is their stint as Superstar K6 on South Korea. They
went with the group name MICA. They only reached Top 8. They received the
same bash, tagging them as professional singers. The Korean netizens
criticized them and said they wouldn’t support them because of this. I
think it played a factor why they didn’t make it in the top, not to mention
that they are not Koreans themselves. After a few small gigs in South
Korea, they flew back in the Philippines.
If you want to know as well, I’ve also researched that they auditioned for
TvN’d Kpop Star Hunt season 2. They never made it.
They only gained recognition in the Philippines recently as MICA, after
their stint on Superstar K6. They were only featured to two Philippine
shows–one is a magazine show, and one is a guesting on It’s Showtime. That
was December 2014.
I’ve only known them when they were MICA, prior to that, I didn’t know
them. I’ve been a fan since their Superstar K6 days, and I’ve just made
some research for other information online.
They attended college for a time (my best friend was their schoolmate
before), and they stopped college altogether to try their luck joining
competitions like these. Philippine education is costly, mind you, and
since they are the “breadwinners” of the family, they need to make some way
to support their family. This is their way—singing.
I think we can call them professionals WITHOUT the fame and money. If you
have seen my past comments, they barely gained attention in the
Philippines. It hurts me as a fan that they receive a lot of hate because
they do not deserve this. They only want to be successful. They only want
to chase their dream. They only want to support their family. I’m also sure
that they have detailed every single experience that they had before
joining X-Factor UK to the show’s producers, and if they are not qualified,
they wouldn’t even be accepted to audition in front of the judges.
– thanks! Ish BA
– Awesome girls! Don’t stop chasing your dreams and make your mom happy.
+drkmgic korek !
I'm actually a Filipino working for clients based in UK and the people
there are so great! I really love to see them joining X Factor UK. I know
they're gonna do well, it's a given for these girls.
The girl who's shooting hearts still have the hangover of SuperStar K :D
Hahaha!...i did noticed it too!...I've followed them during their SSK6 journey n i could tell that the entire vibe of their performance is KPOP except that they r vocally powerful! that sets them apart and their fashion too is w/kpop vibe...they definitely applied all their learnings in thenprevious contest that they have joined in
+jsmash99 There is no need because I understood you now. :D I thought you were just unaware of the rules that's why you posted your comment but I was wrong. You actually knew the rules but still asked. :D For what reason? Only you know. :D /EndOfConvo
+john w "If there are people to blame, it would be the ones behind that show itself."No shit Sherlock. I thought they were Filipino mafia and they had strong-armed there way onto the show.Obviously I'm aware, along with, presumably, everybody else, that it's the producers of the show who have made this decision. I didn't realise by writing a comment on Youtube I had a direct line to the band. I didn't realise this because it isn't the case. Your assumptions are illogical.
+jsmash99 I don't see myself dumb just because I don't agree with your point of view. I get your point that it should be just for UK people since it's called Xfactor UK but the point is, it is not the foreigners' fault for joining because it is not prohibited. If there are people to blame, it would be the ones behind that show itself. Make it exclusive for UK and no contestants from other countries are allowed to join. If you can't accept that, then voice out your opinion directly to the show itself and not to the contestants who just want to be known and chase their dreams.
+john w You're dumb. It's quite simple, if the X-factor is opened to the world, X-Factor "UK" won't be won by anyone from the UK. Now lets not pretend that X-Factor has any significance in the world, as you seem to think it does, such that would warrant thinking I was jealous or threatened. I don't really give a fuck, but it's indicative of the UK right now, where many people are made to compete against the world.
+jsmash99 For the very simple reason that, according to Simon, Xfactor UK is open to the world. It's not the first time they have contestants from other countries, isn't it? Or haven't you watched Xfactor UK before and just suddenly got interested because for some reason, you feel threatened or more likely jealous.

Judge's decision at Bootcamp on The X Factor UK 2015... will 4th Impact (formerly 4th Power) get through??? Copyright belongs to original owner of video.
I love 4th power, more than the spice girls! They are so talented and so
sweet, their singing and dancing is perfection. Their always happy and
smiling which is so refreshing to see, I still can't believe that scream!
That's even in harmony and sync, now that is pure talent. I love them so
much and would love for in a couple of years them to be an actual girl band
and making their own albums, I would love to see them live because they
have such rare talent and its slowly being unravelled!❤x
+Nikita Wheeler ...most Filipino love to sing A LOT,specially ballads,to many talented musician in the Philippines, the problem is the support from music industry afraid to gamble from new singer so some musician leave the Philippines to try their luck in other country,...look what happen to ARNEL PINEDA now he is the lead singer of the American Band JOURNEY he was discover in you tube by Neil shaun one of the founder of the group,Charise pempenco a lot more

"Nakapasa kami" is basically Tagalog. Maybe it's the same term you, Ilocanos, use when referring to that you passed at something. Anyways, Congrats 4th Power! You're going places! "Absolute Perfection", "Phenomenal"... They really make Filipinos proud and they really show how talented Filipinos are to the whole world on that stage. God Bless 4th Power! Keep up the good work!
I really believe 4th Power can be a great girl group, like Beyoncé
had.....We can use some new talent I bet Simon is already thinking of
what he can do to make it happen.
I'm in the minority, I'm sure, but I wasn't too impressed. She did some
amazing things vocally, but it seemed the actual song got left out somehow.
What she did had no meaning.
i've been watching che a lot recently. i always see comments about people
saying louisa is the best ever. i strongly disagree. che is ten times
better than louisa ever will be. they shouldn't even be compared.
Anthony - I actually made an account to thank you for putting up these full
episodes on youtube! I live in India and can't watch these episodes live on
TV. Thank you:)
No other contestant has even close to 12 million views on their audition
except Louisa! She is the winner or this show blows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KEQ7q-32R0
I came here to see what the fuss was about Luisa -- so many praises for
her. But after seeing this performance, i'm not impressed. I've see better
renditions. But she is pretty and young, and she'll only get better as she
grows older. But right now, for me, she's overrated.
Btw, I did the same for Lauren. Now that one is a vocal powerhouse. She
sings better because she sings with emotion. Voice alone, i'd go for
Lauren.
Almost every single comment mentions how 4th power>this group or how
4thpower is going to make it. I think it's very mean lol you should take
you and your comments to the 4thpower videos? Get a grip guys. Tbh this
group is a lot more vocally steady and clean. Sure 4th power has more
energy and knows how to engage the crowd, this isn't surprising considering
how many years they've been performing and taking part in competitions, but
when they sing individually (you can tell right from their 6chairchallenge
intro pls don't deny lol some of the riffs were kind of bad...) their
faults show. And even for that performance when they sang together it was
super messy, I thought their entire performance was messy other than Almira
owning the stage as usual, especially since she's the one who pulls them
through... Just because they can throw out high notes doesn't necessarily
mean their vocal skills are great.
This group is better vocally albeit more boring, but 4th power is more
marketable
+Egi Marcell they wont sell because they are too similar to 5th harmony and littlemix and I doubt they can compete with those two because they are just a bit average, while 4th power they can target Asia so yeah
These girls (Mon Amie) have good voice actually, BUT lack of charisma. Its
like you watch them Now, but tomorrow you will forget about them.
4th Power maybe not as polished as them but when you watch how energetic,
how positive vibe and amizing voice they have, its like you are being
hypnotized and can't help but raping the replay button and watch it over
and over again. I think many British people will love them for sure.
+donghae's wife haha I understand I was in a gospel choir myself before but after hearing 4th power's harmony these girls harmony for me is just too simple imho no hate
+donghae's wife I really don't see what's polished with this group, I mean yeah their harmony is good but if you listen carefully they just did a basic harmony nothing complicated whatsoever and even the choreography ,I think swaying side to to side can be learned in a day or even hours. 4th power's harmony and choreography is by far more difficult than what these girls did
The X Factor UK 2015 S12E10 6 Chair Challenge - Girls - Lauren Murray Full Clip
Don't get me wrong, but... am I the only one who thinks that Kiera
shouldn't be there ??? What the judges saw in her, I don't know. Her
performance was not that good as the others. And what was wrong with Simon
that evening ? He was so mean. Sharon was a lot better than Kiera, and he
said he doesn't remember her (when clearly at the auditions he said: ''I
like her'' ). And Lauren reminds me a bit of Lola from last year, a little
bit unstable and not so reliable, despite of her singing abilities. Last -
weren't supposed the girls to be up to 25 years old ?! Cause there were a
couple of them over that age. Is the Over's group over 27 or something ?
...
+Dennisse Napuli Then why do you know Havva's name, and not the names of all the other hundreds of girls who auditioned? Without looking, can you even name the 14 girls who made it to the 6 chair challenge? Fact: Havva is a star. She's not a karaoke singer screaming high notes of Whitney Houston and Celine Dion covers. If you don't know star quality when you see it, that's too bad for you.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP SINGING LIKE A BLACK WOMAN ALL THE GOD
DAMNED TIME! actually sing normally too.. i don't want to hear the same god
damned thing 10 million times in a row!
+fweeenzie 13 do you not know what racism is ???? racism = Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior: ... i do not hate anything other then the singing! sorry to burst your little bubble of intelligence there bud! and you calling people out on shit like this making people ashamed to have opinions... one might as well HAVE been racist.. atleast then it would be fair! think alittle next time!
No doubt Josh Daniel has a true talent for singing and a great potential.
His first audition demonstrated that he has a warm, emotional, down to
earth personality and an exquisite voice. He gave a witty answer to Simon
Cowells’ words about the chances of the last contestant in the show: he
goes either very good or very bad. His rendition of Jealous by Labyrinth
just blew me away, it was such a cathartic experience. It was heartfelt,
genuine, he crammed so much emotion into his voice that only the best are
capable of. The sign of a true artist is not when he cries on the stage but
when he succeeds in making his audience cry. He or somebody else very
skillfully abridged the lyrics and this version of the song made it even
more powerful than the original. But he is just 21 years of age. He lacks
experience, he does not have a repertoire and he definitely needs a singing
coach. The choice of song for the first audition was perfect. He, however,
needs a lot of experimenting to find the songs which would fit his voice
and personality the best. I thought that his the rendition of Emeli Sande’s
Clown at the boot camp was also very good. If a contestant has the vocal
qualities, song choice is everything. He should learn to articulate more
clearly and not to filter his voice through his teeth in the first part of
a rendition. He has the sympathy and unconditional support of the jury
after his memorable first audition which will probably take him to the live
show but to win the support of the TV audience every week will be a tough
task. It is worth facing this challenge. I am just guessing when I think
that he should choose R&B or soul songs. Maybe, he should try Cry Me a
River, but not Michael Buble’s version. The early rendition of the song by
Susan Boyle is much more profound as it is not simply a message of
vengeance but of pain as she still loves the man but also knows him. Or
Hallelujah, every singer’s true test or Luther Vandross’s Endless love, or
Elton John’s Sorry is the Hardest Word. All in all, I keep my fingers
crossed for Josh. God Bless You, Man.
+Ba Ell Yeah Ba, I have to agree. It would have been more effective (I think) if she'd sung it straighter. The gymnastics she did mostly detracted from the song itself. Why do so many white women think they have to sing as if they're in a gospel chapel on the banks of the Mississippi?
+Dimoudi Alexandra without instrumental music like no piano no drums just the voice. Auditions use to be acapella in the beginning and just view by the x factor crew of x factor but Simon change it to have them audition in public. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood i understand that they audition acapella
+Charsiupao I'm with you and her performance was perfect hahaha, don't get me wrong I'm on with the idea that the pianist joined spontaneously because before Chloe performed she said she's do it with no accompaniment
+Eben-Ezer Gemoto The entire second verse had intermittent chords played here and there, but by then the acapella effect was already more than fulfilled in the entire first verse. In fact, having accompaniment starting halfway through like that can usually go wrong because the singer may lose their key halfway (or maybe even start on the wrong key) unless their pitch is perfect, and Chloe's was. Either that, or the accompaniment was unrehearsed, and the pianist just decided to join in spontaneously and play by ear. It made the song nicer, and no less difficult to sing.
